Özet
Ekonominin gelişmesiyle birlikte birçok ülkede olduğu gibi insanların temel besin kaynağı olan gıda tüketim tercihleri değişikliğe uğramıştır. İnsanların çalışma hayatına önem vermesiyle birlikte gelir artmış olup, kısıtlı zamanı değerlendirmek için“hızlı yiyecek”olan fast food tüketiminde artışlar meydana gelmiştir. Her yaş grubuna hitap eden fast food; hızlı hazırlanması, ucuz olması ve tüketim şekli kolay olması nedeniyle günümüz toplumunda önem kazanmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı da Adana ilinde yaşayan fast food tüketicilerinin beslenme alışkanlıklarını ve fast food yiyecek seçimlerinde etkili olan kriterleri ve bu kriterler üzerinde rol oynayan etkenleri tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır.

Modern development in the economy has resulted, as in many other countries, a change in people's preferences regarding their food consumption and by extension their foundational eating habits. Due to the increased value that people hold toward their careers, as well as increased incomes, the option to consume“fast food”has become an ideal means for many who seek to make the most of their time when it comes to meals. Fast food is marketed to people of all ages and has gained importance in society due to the ease with which it's prepared and consumed, along with its affordability. The purpose of this study is to determine the eating habits of those who consume fast food in the province of Adana, as well as to determine the criteria (and the factors that shape these criteria) that influence consumers in their fast food choices.
