Özet
Bu çalışmada, stratejik yönetimlerde strateji ve örgütsel yapı arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Stratejik yönetim; hem rekabet ortamının zorluklarının aşılmasını, hem de çevre koşullarındaki değişmelere çabuk uyum sağlanmasını çıkış noktası alan özel bir yönetim sürecidir. Geliştirilmiş olan strateji, bir örgüt içinde uygulanacağına göre, örgütün anatomisi olan yapısı ile sıkı bir ilişki içinde olacaktır. Stratejinin geliştirilme ve uygulanma aşamalarında mevcut yapının etkileri ve sınırlamaları görülebilecektir. Ancak stratejinin başarıya ulaşabilmesi için örgüt yapısının stratejiye uygun olarak değiştirilmesi gereklidir. Her strateji değişimi, yapı değişikliğini beraberinde getirecek ve yapı stratejiyi takip edecektir. Araştırmanın temel hipotezi olan 'yapı, stratejiyi takip eder' fikri, stratejik yönetim sürecinde olan bir özel işletme üzerinde gözlenmiştir. Örgütsel yapısını stratejiye uygun düzenleyemeyen işletmenin yaşamakta olduğu güçlükler hipotezi doğrulamaktadır.

In this study, the relationship between strategy and organizational structure has been examined. Strategic management is a special management process, which aims both to compensate the troubles of competitive situations and to adapt rapidly to environmental changes. As the formulated strategy will be implemented in an organization, it will have a strong relationship with its structure, which is the anatomy of the organization. During the steps of strategy formulation and implementation, it will be likely that the current structure will have effect and limitations. For the success of the strategy, however, organizational structure should be changed according to the strategy. Each strategy change will bring structural change along and structure will follow the strategy. The idea of 'structure follows the strategy', which is the main hypothesis of the research,has been observed on a private company experiencing a strategic management process. The problems this company is facing due to failures in structural changes have verified the hypothesis.
