Özet
Bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri (ICT) günümüzde eğitim alanında yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Özellikle internet erişiminin yaygınlaşması ve Web 2.0 araçlarının kullanılmasıyla öğretmenler ve öğrenciler bu araçları dersin daha ilgi çekici ve motive edici olması için kullanmaya başlamışlardır. İnternet kullanırken kullanıcılar zamanın algısını kaybedip yalnızca yaptıkları etkinliğe odaklanmaktadır. Bu yüksek motivasyon ve odaklanma hissi flow teorisi ile açıklanabilir. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada üniversite yabancı dil öğrencilerinin (EFL) ve öğretmenlerinin ders içinde Web 2.0 aracı kullanırken Flow deneyimi yaşayıp yaşamadıklarını ve bunu etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma için Flow Kısa Ölçeği ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme soruları kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar EFL öğrenci ve öğretmenlerinin Web 2.0 aracı kullanırken flow deneyimi yaşadıklarını göstermiş, EFL öğretmen ve öğrencilerinin bu araçların kullanımı ile ilgili görüşlerini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Ayrıca bu çalışma sonunda yabancı dil derslerinin planlanmasında Web 2.0 araçlarının etkin ve doğru kullanılmasının sınıf içi flow deneyimi ve öğrenme performansını artırmadaki etkisinin önemi vurgulanmaktadır.

Information and communication technologies (ICT) are widely used in the field of education today. Especially with the widespread use of internet, and the use of Web 2.0 tools, teachers and students have started to use these tools to make the course more interesting and motivating. When using the Internet, users lose the perception of time and focus only on the activity they are doing. This feeling of high motivation and focus can be explained by the flow theory. For this reason, in this study, it is aimed to determine whether university foreign language students (EFL) and their teachers have experienced flow while using Web 2.0 tools in the classroom, and the factors affecting this experience. For the study, the Flow Short Scale and semi-structured interview questions were used. The results showed that EFL students and teachers had flow experience while using the Web 2.0 tool, and revealed the views of EFL teachers and students about the use of these tools. In addition, at the end of this study, the importance of effective and correct use of Web 2.0 tools in language lessons planning, and increasing the in-class flow experience and learning performance are emphasized.
