Özet
Austin ve Searle gibi Gündelik Dil Felsefecileri tarafından ortaya konan sözedimleri, kişilerin düşünce, inanç, amaç ve istekleri doğrultusunda niyetlerine bağlı olarak edimsel anlam taşıyan sözcelerin, konuşucu veya dinleyiciyi eyleme geçiren etkilerini inceler. Searle'e göre bir dili konuşmak, kurallara uygun olarak bazı davranışlarda bulunmaktır. Searle sözedimlerini genel olarak sözceleme edimi, önerme edimi, edimsöz edimi ve etkisöz edimi olarak dört gruba ayırır. Önerme edimini gönderme ve yükleme bakımından inceler. Searle göre oluşturucu ve düzenleyici kurallar, içtenlik koşulu, uyma yönü sözedimlerinde etkilidir. O, her şeyin dilegetirilebilirlik ilkesi gereğince dille mümkün olduğunu söyler. Edimsöz edimlerini kesinleyiciler, yönelticiler, yükleyiciler, dışavurucular ve bildirgeler olarak beş grupta toplamaktadır. Searle, soru sormanın dolaylı edimsöz olarak rica etmenin özel bir biçimi olduğuna dikkat çekmektedir. Bu çalışmada Çağan Irmak'ın yazdığı ''Babam ve Oğlum'' adlı sinema metninin senaryosu üzerinde Searle'ün Sözedim Kuramına göre soru-yanıt tümceleri incelenmiştir.

Speech acts, which was proposed by Ordinary Language Philosophers such as Austin and Searle, examines the effects of utterances that have pragmatic meanings on influencing speaker or listener's action, depending on the intentions of individuals in accordance with their thoughts, beliefs, ambitions, and desires. According to Searle, speaking a language is acting in accordance with the rules. Searle generally divides speech acts into four groups as utterance act, propositional act, illocutionary act and perlocutionary act. He examines the propositional act in terms of reference and prediction. According to Searle, constitutive and regulative rules, sincerity condition, and compliance direction, are successful in speech acts. He says that everything is conceivable with language in accordance with the principle of expressibility. The illocutionary verbs are collected into five groups as finalizers, directives, predictors, expressers and declarations. Searle points out that asking questions is a special form of implicit illocutionary request. In this study, question-answer phrases were examined based on the Searle's Speech Acts Theory over the script of the cinema movie“My Father and My Son”written by Çağan Irmak.
