Özet
Bu tez, yeni yoksulluğun ve sosyal dışlanmanın çocuk işçilikle nasıl bir bağlantısı olduğunu ortaya çıkarma amacıyla oluşturulmuştur. Bu çerçevede, hem günümüz hem de geleceğimiz açısından büyük bir sorun teşkil eden çocuk işçiliği üzerine niteliksel bir çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Denizli kent merkezinde yürütülen çalışmada, örgün eğitime devam etmeyen ve kayıt dışı bir şekilde çalışan 40 çocuk işçiyle derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Çocuk işçilerin ailelerinin sosyo-ekonomik özellikleri; çocuk işçilerin demografik özellikleri, eğitim durumları, eğitime bakışları, çalışma şartları, sosyal dışlanmaya dair tecrübeleri, fiziksel şiddet tecrübeleri ve gözlemleri, suç konusundaki tecrübe ve gözlemleri, zararlı alışkanlıkları, sosyalleşme ve boş zaman faaliyetleri ile gelecek beklentileri ifade edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde, konuyla alakalı olan kuramsal ve kavramsal çerçeve çizilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, çocuk yoksulluğu ve çocuk işçiliği teorik olarak ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, yapılan saha araştırmasının kapsam ve metodolojisine yer verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ise, araştırmanın bulguları ifade edilmiş, kuramsal ve kavramsal çerçeve göz önünde bulundurularak çatışmacı perspektifle yorumlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, örneklemimiz özelindeki örgün eğitime devam etmeyen ve kayıt dışı olarak çalışan çocuk işçilerin, yeni yoksulluğun ve sosyal dışlanmanın riskleri ile karşı karşıya oldukları ortaya konulmuştur.

This thesis was formed to find out the connection between the child labour and the new poverty and social exclusion.Within this scape,in terms of both today and future, a qualitative study about the child labour that constitutes a big problem, was carried out. In the study which was handled in city center in Denizli, the interviews were verified deeply with the forty child workers who don't continue to formal training and work unrecorded. It was tried to be expressed that the socio-economic features of families of child workers, the demographic features of child workers, educational backgrounds of child workers, the points of view about education,working conditions,the experiences of social exclusion, the experiences and observations about physical violence, the experiences and observations about the crime,the bad habits, socialising and the free time activities. And also, the future expectations. This research has four parts. In the first part, a theoreitical and conceptional frame was drawn about this topic. In the second part, child poverty and child labour was dealed with theoretically. In the third part, it was included the extent and the methodology of the field research. In the fourth and final part, it was expressed the findings of research and it was interpretted with the opposite perspective taking into the consideration with the theoretical and conceptional frame. In the consequence of the research, it was revealed that the child workers on this specific sample, are faced with the risks of the new poverty and social exclusion.
