Özet

Bu çalışmada Geyve Boğazı ve çevresindeki bitki örtüsünün dağılışı ve dağılışında etki eden ekolojik faktörler incelenmiştir. İnceleme alanını oluşturan Geyve Boğazı ve çevresi Marmara Bölgesi, Sakarya ili, Geyve ilçesi sınırları içerisinde yer alır. Geyve Boğazı ve çevresi nemli orman ve kuru orman vejetasyonunun gelişmesi için elverişli olan ekolojik şartlara sahiptir. Çalışma sahası içerisinde yağışın fazla olduğu, sıcaklık şartlarının elverişli olduğu ve etkili bir kurak devrenin bulunmadığı kesimlerde Fagus orientalis, Castanea sativa ve Tilia argentea gibi nemcil türler dağılış gösterir. Yağış tutarlarının az olduğu çalışma sahasının güney kesimlerinde kuru orman ağaçlarından Pinus brutia'ya rastlamak mümkündür. Orman formasyonlarının tahrip edildiği çalışma sahasında nemcil çalı türleri ile kurakçıl çalı türleri dağılış gösterir. Çalışma sahasındaki ot vejetasyonu ise genellikle orman altı örtüsü olarak bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada topoğrafya, iklim, amenajman planları, meşçere ve toprak verileri kullanılmış ve arazi çalışmaları yapılmıştır. İnceleme sahasına ait haritaların yapımında Harita Genel Komutanlığı'ndan temin edilen 1/25000 ölçekli topografya haritaları altlık olarak kullanılmıştır. Çalışma için hazırlanan harita ArcGIS 10.8 programı kullanılmıştır. Çalışmayı daha detaylı incelemek amacıyla oluşturulan bitki kesitlerinin üretilmesinde ise CorelDRAW 2021 programı kullanılmıştır. Geyve Boğazı ve çevresinin sahip olduğu özel ekolojik şartlar nedeniyle sahada yoğun bitki örtüsü ve farklı bitki türleri bulunmaktadır. Bu nedenle sahanın bitki örtüsünün sürdürülebilirliği açısından korunması önemlidir.

In this study, the distribution of vegetation in and around the Geyve Strait and the ecological factors affecting its distribution were examined. The Geyve Strait and its surroundings, which form the study area, are located within the borders of the Marmara Region, Sakarya province, Geyve district. Geyve Strait and its surroundings have ecological conditions suitable for the development of moist forest and dry forest vegetation. Humidity species such as Fagus orientalis, Castanea sativa and Tilia argentea are distributed in parts of the study area where precipitation is high, temperature conditions are favorable and there is no effective dry season. It is possible to come across Pinus brutia, one of the dry forest trees, in the southern parts of the study area, where the precipitation amounts are low. In the study area where forest formations have been destroyed, moisture shrub species and xeric shrub species are distributed. Grass vegetation in the study area is generally found as forest cover. In this study, topography, climate, management plans, stand and soil data were used and field studies were carried out. 1/25000 scale topography maps obtained from the General Command of Mapping were used as a base in the making of the maps belonging to the study area. The maps prepared for the study was used in the ArcGIS 10.8 program. In order to examine the study in more detail, CorelDRAW 2021 program was used in the production of plant sections. Due to the special ecological conditions of the Geyve Strait and its surroundings, there are dense vegetation and different plant species in the area. For this reason, it is important to protect the site in terms of the sustainability of the vegetation.
