Özet
ÖZET Bu araştırmada, Lise 1 ve Lise 2 tarih ders kitapları ile, diğer seçmeli tarih ders kitaplarında yer alan, toplumsal ve ekonomik tarih konularının, gerek oran, gerekse içerik açısından, çağdaş,bilimsel ölçütlere uygunluğu incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, MEB Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu'nun, ortaöğretim için, kaynak kitap olarak önerdiği, Lise 1 ve Lise 2 tarih ders kitapları ile seçmeli olarak okutulan Genel Türk Tarihi 1, Genel Türk Tarihi 2, Genel Türk Tarihi 3, Osmanlı Tarihi 2 ve İslam Tarihi isimli çeşitli tarih ders kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sonunda, dünyada ve ülkemizde tarih alanında, gelinen nokta açısından toplumsal ve ekonomik tarih konularının, lise tarih ders kitaplarında yeterli düzeylerde yer almadığı ve içeriğinin de, bilimsel tarihçilik ölçütleri ile çağdaş insani değerlerle bağdaşmadığı anlaşılmıştır. Lise tarih ders kitaplarında yer alan toplumsal ve ekonomik tarih konularında, diğer ulus ve kültürlere karşı nesnel olmayan yaklaşımlar görülebildiği gibi toplum ve birey karşısında da devlet yanlısı yaklaşımlar hemen göze çarpmaktadır. Konular, millilik çerçevesinde, mükemmellik ön kabulü ile ele alındığında eleştiri eksikliği göze çarptığı tarihsel olay ve olgular arasında da ilişkisizlik görülebilmektedir. Lise tarih ders kitabı yazarları toplumsal ve ekonomik tarih konuları açısından günceli yakalayamadıkları gibi çelişkili açıklamalarda yapabilmektedirler. Toplumsal ve ekonomik tarih konuları, dilinin karmaşık, anlatımının kuru ve ezbere yönelik olması nedeniyle birtakım eksiklik ve yanlışlar içerdiği gibi öğretimi pekiştiriri araçlar yönünden de yetersizlikler taşımaktadır. Lise tarih ders kitaplarında yer alan toplumsal ve ekonomik tarih ders konulan, bir an önce çağdaş tarihçilik anlayışı ve evrensel değerler açısından yeniden düzenlenmelidir. rv

ABSTRACT This research arms to figure out whether the social and economic subjects of Lise I and Lise II history course books and the other elective history course books fit into the modern and scientific criteria in terms of both content and ratio. The scope of the research includes Lise I and Lise II history course books and elective history course books such as General Turkish History I, General Turkish History II, General Turkish History HI, Ottaman History II and The History of Islam recommended by the Board of Training, the Ministry of Education. The research concludes that the social and economic history subjects matters are not given their due place in high school history course books and the contents do not go suitably with scientific historicut criteria and modern humane values. It is easy to see the un-objective approaches to the other nation and cultures in terms of the social and economic history subject matters, and state- bound approaches to the society and individual. When the topics are dealt within the national framework both lack of critical and the irrelevancy between the historical events and phenomena are conspicuous. The high school history course book writers cannot- cope with the contemporary agenda and they can state on the issues controversially. The social and economic history topics have shortcomings such as the complexity of language, the instructions being dull and memory based, the books having many mistakes and their lack of equipment. The social and economic history topics of the high school history course books should be reviewed immediately under the light of the modern historicut approach and universal values.
