SUMMARY Continuous publications in Turkish Literature which has developed being influenced by western literature dating from the second half of the 19 th century. The private Turkish newspapers which started to be edited by Turkish journalists in 1860 are also the first products of new Turkish literature. The aim of this resarch is to examine HİSAR in all aspects.which is one of the most important art and literature magazines and to put forward the relationships between the literature and continuous publications in the development of Turkish literature in the last 1 50 years' period. In the introduction chapter, we examined the groups and actions about the continuous publications in Turkish literature and their togetherness, addressing, literary work and their dissolving. We also examined the literary world how the Hisar group came together, their understanding of literature and presentation of HİSAR magazine. In the second chapter, we examined the HİSAR magazine in terms of the sorts of literature in it and we made a classification of the literary types and subjects. Hisar's first publication period is between March, 1950 and January, 1957. It's second publication period is between January, 1964 and December 1980. Proponents of Hisar group were devoted to Traditional Turkish Literature and were the first group agains GARİP poetic understanding. They are the third group in field of poetry in the literature in the period of Turkish Republic. They defended the idea that actual Turkish and art wouldn't be a propoganda material of any ideology, and, that imitating the west we can't form a national art. The Hisar magazin has been 8784 papers and included poems and articles more than 900 domestic and foreign authors and poets. The leading proponents of HİSAR are Munis Faik Ozansoy (1911-1975), İlhan Geçer (1917), Mehmet Çınarlı (1925), Yahya Benekay (1925), Nevzat Yalçın (1926), Gültekin Sâmanoğlu (1927), Mustafa Necati Karaer (1929-1995) and Osman Fehmi Özçelik (1930), Fikret Sezgin, Hazan İzzet Arolat in a short period. In the third chapter, we gave all published HİSAR magazines including names of the autthers. In the conclusion chapter we gave the place of HİSAR group in the Turkish Literature and the data we have got the thesis. 366
