The project is based on a short story from Italo Calvino, The Distance of The Moon. I have determined couple of main themes of the story. Later on, I explored them and chose one of them to visualize. The theme I chose;“metamorphosis”. Based on the story, I developed different ideas to visualize. I also explored the term of metamorphosis in field of literature and in visual arts. So, the thesis project of mine was divided into two parts. First one is“metamorphosis in literature”and second part of the thesis is“metamorphosis in visual arts”. At the second part of the project, I argue my experiments about the related term.
