Özet
Günümüzdeki spor salonları ve fitness merkezleri giderek yaygınlaşmaktadır. Spor ile uğraşan ve fitness merkezlerine üye bireylerin spor ekonomisine olan katkılarını değişik başlıklar altında incelenmesi konu alınmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından yapılan bu çalışmanın amacı bireylerin kişisel yıllık spor harcamalarının analizi yapılarak kişisel (demografik) ve diğer etkenlere göre harcamalarının farklılık düzeylerinin olup olmadığını belirlemek ve spor ekonomisine olan katkısını incelemektedir. Yapılan araştırma Kastamonu merkez ilçesinde bulunan özel spor merkezlerine kayıtlı üyelerin katılımlarıyla elde edilen verilerle oluşturulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler istatistik paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz aşamasında parametrik ve non parametrik testler uygulanmıştır. Yapılan testler sonucunda özel fitness merkezlerine üye olan bireylerin kişisel yıllık spor harcamalarının yaş, eğitim durumu, medeni durum, meslek, yapılan spor aktivitesi ve düzenli spor yapma sıklığı değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

Gyms and fitness centers are becoming more and more common today. The contribution of individuals who are involved in sports and who are members of fitness centers to the economy of sports has been examined under different headings. The purpose of this study conducted by the researcher is to determine whether there are differences in the individual (demographic) and other factors of their expenditures by analyzing the private sports centers in Kastamonu province and individuals' personal annual sports expenditures, and to examine their contribution to the sports economy. The research was created with the data obtained with the participation of members registered in private sports centers in Kastamonu central district. The data obtained were analyzed using a statistical package program. During the analysis phase, parametric and non-parametric tests were applied. As a result of the tests, it was concluded that the personal annual sports expenditures of individuals who are members of private fitness centers differ significantly according to the variables of age, educational status, marital status, occupation, sports activity and the frequency of regular sports.
