In recent years, social media has become a phenomenon among consumers and marketers in variety of industries. Hospitality is also one of the industry which is affected by the term social media. More and more hotel brands have started to take advantage of social media. Nevertheless, the issue regarding how to carry out social media successfully remains questionable. Therefore, the purpose of the thesis is to elaborate a social media marketing strategy specifically for AccorHotels Deutschland GmbH. The focus segment is going to be particularly on business travellers. Elaboration of a social media marketing strategy aims at answering three research questions including which social media channels could be used, how could the travel/booking behaviours are affected, and is it possible to increase the sale by conducting a quantitative research. Subsequently, discussions, managerial implications as well as conclusion are provided based on the results of the quantitative research.
