Among the most important parts of the environmental perception are our senses and emotions. The perceptual process that is affected by emotions create movement. Behavior starts with the reception of stimulus by the senses and after the perceptual process, it ends up with the transformation of the received data into action. Thus, senses constitute the origin of human behavior. This makes the integration of the senses into design more important. Spaces might evoke emotions by their design, ambient and environmental factors. Being able to influence the behavior of people could bring social change in society. Today, contemporary societies face some behavioral changes due to technological and socio-political developments. People have become more isolated, detached and isolated with weaker emotional bonding with each other. By integrating these current behavioral changes in society as a concept, this thesis examines the outcomes of experiencing an emotion evoking space. Sensual architecture could be a step towards new societies. In order to support this research area, two installation designs that include a sensual aspect has been proposed in two different locations of the world.
