In 2020, the Coronavirus pandemic exercised influence over the whole world. This situation has had broad impacts on people's physical and mental well-being. This study aims to highlight the relationship between elevated depression rates during the Covid-19 pandemic and fear memory acquisition. Also, it was hypothesized that high levels of Corona behavior which refers to avoidance and precaution behaviors, would predict higher fear memory acquisition. The Covid experience variable (infection of self or close others and death of close others) was used as a covariate to help explaining fear memory acquisition. To do that, Beck's Depression Inventory, Corona Behavior Inventory, and an experiment which was designed to investigate the stages of fear learning were used. The analyses revealed that high levels of depression did not show heightened fear memory acquisition. Participants who showed high levels of Corona behavior also did not result in increased fear acquisition rates. Additionally, participants' Covid experience was questioned to see if it helped to predict fear memory acquisition. However, the results disclosed that this was not the case
