Özet
m ÖZET Bu çalışma İlköğretim 8. Sınıf beden eğitimi dersinin öğrencilerin psikomotor gelişimine etkisi konusunda 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin ve beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Veriler 650 öğrenci ve 48 öğretmene uygulanan bir anket ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlan, ilköğretim okullarının 8. Sınıfında bulunan öğrencilerin psikomotor gelişimden algısal motor gelişime yönelik hareketlerinin vasat düzeyde olduğunu göstermiştir. Ayrıca cinsiyete göre kızların algısal motor gelişiminin erkeklere göre alt düzeyde kaldığı bulunmuştur. Cinsiyete göre kızların elastikiyete yönelik hareketleri yapabilme düzeylerinin erkeklere oranla daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Öğretmenlere göre öğrencilerin elastikiyet,çabukluk,koordinasyon,teknik,kuvvet ve dengeye yönelik kompleks hareketler vasat düzeyde yapılmaktadır.

IV ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to investigate the opinion of the 8th grade elementary school students and physical education teachers about the effects of physical education courses on the psychomotor development of 8th grade elementary school students The data were collected by a questionnaire administered. The result showed that the movements of students from psychomotor development were found average level. The perceptual motor development of girls were found as lower than that of the boys. The result also showed that the girls level of movement of elasticity was higher than the movements level of boys. According to the teachers, perceptions students complex movements towards the elasticity, quickness, coordination, technic, force and balance were performing at the average level.
