In this study, I will explain the economic effects of nuclear facility investments based on the development of nuclear energy in the historical process and I will compare nuclear and other energy forms to predict the future of nuclear energy. For this purpose, first I will explain the energy sources using around the world. Among these energy types, I will focus on nuclear energy. After giving information about nuclear energy I will examine its historical development and its current status by comparing other energy types. I will also include consumer preferences and public opinion on nuclear and other energy sources in this comparison. After this comparison, I will review the literature on nuclear energy consumption and its economic effects. After this review, I will compare findings on the literature and current statistical data to see whether the macroeconomic effects of nuclear facility investments are as specified in the literature
