Özet
Tarih boyunca yapılan keşifler, teknolojik gelişmeler, artan farkındalıklar ile birlikte insanlığın geçmişine dair bilgiler yenilenmiş ve daha çok bilgi sahibi olunmuştur (Başar,Yıldız, 2019, s.812). Güzel kavramı ise, resim sanatında önemli bir yer teşkil etmiş, birçok sanatçı, düşünür üstünde tanımlamalar geliştirmiş, yaşanılan çağın ekonomik, kültürel, sosyal, politik, psikolojik, ahlaki, dinsel, felsefik, teknolojik ve tarihsel gelişmelerinden etkilenerek değişmiş, ilerleme göstermiştir. Bu yüzden resim sanatında her dönemde dönemin kendine özgü bir güzellik ve estetik anlayışı oluşmuştur (Eco, 2006, s.9). Bu tez çalışmasında, Rönesans dönemi güzellik algısının Modern sanat akımlarından hangisi ya da hangileri nasıl bir değişim geçirdiği incelenmiştir. Birinci bölümde; araştırmanın problem durumuna, amacına, önemine, sınırlılıklarına ve yöntemine yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde;“güzel”kavramı ve Rönesans öncesi dönemlerin“güzel”anlayışı incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; Rönesans dönemi resim sanatının toplumsal ve düşünsel süreçler içindeki oluşumları, eğilimleri, gelişimleri döneminden seçilen sanatçıların eserleri analiz edilerek incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ise; Modern Sanatın gelişim süreci ve Avangart sanat anlayışlarıyla birlikte estetik kaygının yok olduğu Kübizim, Fütürizm, Dadaizm gibi Modern Sanat akımları üretilen eserler üzerinden ele alınarak estetik anlayışın geldiği nokta ifade edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Art, which has been in a continuous development and change since the beginning of human history, has constantly moved and continued to develop. The subject of beauty, on the other hand, has become an important concept in the art of painting, has developed definitions on many artists and thinkers, has changed and progressed by being influenced by the economic, cultural, social, political, psychological, moral, religion, philosophy, technology and historical developments of the era. Therefore, in every period, a unique understanding of beauty and aesthetics has emerged in the art of painting. In this thesis, the changes in the perception of beauty in the Renaissance period with the modern art movements were examined. In the first part; The problem situation, purpose, importance, limitations and method of the research are included. In the second part; The concept of beauty and the understanding of beauty in the pre-Renaissance periods were examined. In the third part; The formations, tendencies and developments of the Renaissance period painting art in social and intellectual processes were examined together with the artists and their works. In the fourth chapter; Movements such as Cubism, Futurism and Dadaism, in which aesthetic concerns disappeared together with the development process of modern art and the avant-garde understanding of art, were handled through the works produced and the point reached by the aesthetic understanding was tried to be expressed.
