Özet

Çalışmada, ortaokul öğrencilerinin“Genel Bağlamda Özgüven”(GBÖ) ve“Ders Bağlamında Özgüven”(DBÖ) düzeylerini belirleyecek iki“algı bildirim tutanağı”geliştirmektir. Bu amaçla Morgan ve Jinks (2003) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan Akademik Özyeterlilik Ölçeği'nin Türkçeye uyarlanmış ölçeği 2019-2020 öğretim yılı İstanbul ilinde özel bir okulda öğrenim gören 74 erkek, 90 kız olmak üzere toplam 164 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Bu ölçekten sonra 7. ve 8. sınıf öğrencileri için Özgüven/Öz-yeterlik Ölçeği geliştirilmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Ölçeğin içerik ve geçerliği kapsamlı bir alan yazın incelemesinden sonra lisansüstü öğrencileri ve öğretim üyelerinden oluşan bir takım tarafından sağlanmıştır. Öncelikle öğrencilerin açık uçlu sorulara verdikleri cevaplardan 28 özgün madde geliştirildi. Bu maddeler elverişli örneklemdeki 7. ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerine e-posta (çevrimiçi) anket yoluyla gönderildi. Veriler, betimsel istatistikler, geleneksel madde analizi vb. nicel yöntemlerle ile temel göstergelere indirgendi. Yanıtların seçeneklere dağılımları, madde ortalamaları, varyansları, madde-kalan puan ilişki katsayıları anlaşılır ve kabul edilebilir olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Faktör analizi sonucunda yedi faktörlü olarak belirlenmiştir. Cronbach Alfa ve diğer geleneksel güvenirlik göstergeleri yeterli bulunmuştur. Elde edilen nicel veriler ve sayısal göstergeler içerik ve söylem analizi vb. nitel yaklaşımlar yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin Akademik Öz-yeterliliklerinde (AÖY) cinsiyet ve sınıfa göre anlamlı düzeyde ilişki bulunmuş olmakta birlikte Genel Bağlamda Özgüven (GBÖ), LGS ve Ders Bağlamında Özgüven (DBÖ) düzeylerinde anlamlı bir ilişkinin olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca annenin eğitim durumu artıkça öğrencinin Genel Bağlamında Özgüven (GBÖ) , Ders Bağlamında Özgüven (DBÖ) ve LGS ortalamaların da artış olduğu görülmüştür. Babanın eğitim durumunda ise fark yaratan bir etkenin olmadığı bulunmuştur.

In the study, it was aimed to develop two“perception reports”that would determine the“Confidence in General Context”(CGC) and“Confidence in Class Context”(CCC) levels of secondary. Turkish and to make comparisons between some sub-sample clusters. For this purpose, the Turkish-adapted scale of the Academic Self-Efficacy Scale developed by Morgan and Jinks (2003) was applied to a total of 164 students, 74 boys and 90 girls, studying at a private school in Istanbul in the 2019-2020 academic year. After this scale, Self-Confidence/Self-Efficacy Scale was developed and evaluated for 7th and 8th grade students. The content and validity of the scale was provided by a team of graduate master students and faculty members after a comprehensive literature review. First of all, 28 original items were developed from the answers given by the students to the open-ended questions. These items were sent to the 7th and 8th grade students in the eligible sample via an e-mail (online) questionnaire. Data, descriptive statistics, traditional item analysis etc. reduced to basic indicators with quantitative methods. The distribution of the answers to the options, item averages, variances, item-remaining score correlation coefficients were evaluated as understandable and acceptable. As a result of factor analysis, it was determined as seven factors. Cronbach Alpha and other traditional reliability indicators were found to be sufficient. Quantitative data and numerical indicators obtained, content and discourse analysis, etc. qualitative approaches have been interpreted.As a result of the research, it was determined that there was a significant relationship between the Academic Self-Efficacy (AFE) of the students according to gender and class, but there was no significant relationship between the levels of Self-Confidence in the General Context (SCGC), LGS (High School Entrance Exam) and Self-Confidence in the Context of the Course (SCCC). Furthermore, as the education level of the mother increased, it was observed that the averages of the student's Self-Confidence in the Context of General (SCCG), Confidence in the Context of the Course (CCC) and LGS increased. It was found that there was no significant factor in the educational status of the father.
