The study was carried out in the general screening model from the scale development and quantitative research method. The sample of the study consisted of 722 volunteer sedentary and athlete individuals. The study data were collected with the“Personal Information Form”and the“Attitude Scale Towards Sports During the Pandemic Period (KOV-SYTÖ)”developed by the researchers. Scale; It consisted of 29 items and 2 sub-dimensions (Mental Effects and Stress), with a KMO value of 0.916 and a general reliability coefficient of r=0.871. While the lowest score that can be obtained from the scale was determined as 29, the highest score was determined as 145. A total of 722 volunteers included the study group; 369 men (51.1%), 353 women (48.9%) and 372 athletes (51.5%) made up 350 sedentary (48.5%). According to the answers given by the participants to the KOV-SYTS and statistical analyzes, it was determined that there was a significant difference between the groups in total scores and sub-dimensions according to age, gender and being an athlete/sedentary (p<0.05). As a result, it was determined that the average score that could be obtained from the scale was 63, it was seen that the average scores of the participants (x̄=114,65) were high, which showed that their attitudes towards sports were high during the pandemic process.
