Özet
Siberfeminizm teknoloji, internet ve kadın üçlemesini odağına alan feminist bir harekettir. Cinsiyet eşitsizliğine karşı savaşım veren ve bu soruna çözüm yolları üreten siberfeminizm, kadın ve internet arasında her zaman bir bağ olduğunu savunmaktadır. Ayrıca Donna Haraway'in“Siborg Teorisi”nden doğan siberfeminist kuram, insanın makinelerle veya teknolojik gereçlerle olan birlikteliğinden dolayı siber uzamda ve fiziki dünyada birer siborga dönüştüğünü ileri sürmektedir. Üstelik siborg bireyde cinsiyet kavramı, daha çok iki biçimli/heteronormatif olan görünümünden uzaklaşabilmektedir. Diğer bir deyişle, siborgun cinsiyet kimliği hem iki biçimli hem çok cinsiyetli hem de cinsiyetsiz bir hale gelebilmektedir. Siber uzamda siber kimlik, siborg bireylere cinsiyetsizleşmenin yollarını açarken, CRISPR ve GenSmart Design gibi biyoteknoloji ve gen mühendisliği alanındaki teknolojik gelişmeler de fiziki dünyada siborg insanları cinsiyetsiz kılabilecek imkânlara sahiptir. Bu tezin öncelikli amacı siberfeminist kuramı tarihsel gelişimi, amacı ve ilgilendiği konular çerçevesinde açımlayarak siber kültür, siber kimlik ve cinsiyet kimliği kavramları arasındaki bağı ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla tezde araştırma yöntemi olarak betimsel analiz kullanılmış ve bir sonuca ulaşılmıştır. Bu sonuca göre, siberfeminizm, postmodernizmin yapıbozuma uğrattığı cinsiyet kimliğini siber kültürde yeniden inşa etmektedir. Ancak bu oluşumda cinsiyet kimliği, siber kimlikte ve siborg bedende cinsiyetsizleşebilme olanağına kavuşabilmektedir. Bu konuda, teknolojik gelişmeler sayesinde hem fiziki uzamda hem siber uzamda cinsiyet sınırlarının bulanıklaşması, diğer bir deyişle, cinsiyetin iki biçimli/heteronormatif yapıdan çok biçimli bir yapıya geçiş yapması veya görünmez olması mümkündür. Buradan hareketle, siberfeminizm siber kimliğin cinsiyet kimliğinden bağımsız olarak kurulabileceğini ve cinsiyetten kaynaklı eşitsizliklerinin siber kültürde kök salamayacağını savunmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasının dijitalleşen dünyada cinsiyet ve kimlik konularına ışık tutacağı, siborg ve feminizm kavramlarına yeni ve farklı bir bakış açısı sunacağı düşünülmektedir.

Cyberfeminism is a feminist movement that focuses on the triplet of technology, the internet, and women. Cyberfeminism, which fights against gender inequality and produces solutions to this problem, argues that there is always a link between women and the internet. Furthermore, cyberfeminist theory, which originated from Donna Haraway's“Cyborg Theory”, asserts that human beings are transformed into cyborgs in cyberspace and the physical world due to their association with machines or technological equipment. Moreover, the concept of gender in a cyborg individual may diverge from its mostly bi-shaped/heteronormative appearance. In other words, the gender identity of the cyborg can become both bi-shaped and multi-sexed and gender-free. While cyber identity in cyberspace opens up ways for cyborg to become gender-neutral, technological advances in the field of biotechnology and gene engineering such as CRISPR and GenSmart Design also have opportunities to make cyborg people gender free in the physical world. The primary purpose of this thesis is to reveal the link between the concepts of cyber culture, cyber identity and gender identity by explaining cyberfeminist theory within the framework of its historical development, purpose and subjects. For this purpose, in the thesis descriptive analysis was used as a research method and a conclusion was reached. According to this result, cyberfeminism reconstructs the gender identity that postmodernism has deconstructed in cyber culture. However, in this formation, gender identity has the opportunity to become gender-neutral in cyber identity and cyborg body. In this regard, it is possible that gender boundaries are blurred both in physical space and cyberspace thanks to technological advances, in other words, gender can transition from a biform/ heteronormative structure to a multiform structure or become invisible. From this point of view, cyberfeminism argues that cyber identity can be established independently of gender identity so that gender-based inequalities cannot take root in cyber culture. It is thought that this thesis will shed light on gender and identity issues in the digitalized world and offer a new and different perspective on the concepts of cyborg and feminism.
