Özet
AMAÇ Sleeve Gastrektomi (SG) yapılmış morbid obez olguların rezeksiyon materyalinde görülen histopatolojik bulgular, nöroendokrin tümörler ve bunların obezite ile ilişkisi değerlendirilecek; cerrahi öncesi gerekebilecek görüntüleme yöntemleri tartışılacaktır. MATERYAL VE METOD Kliniğimizde 2015-2020 yılları arasında morbid obezite nedeniyle SG yapılmış olguların dosyaları retrospektif tarandı. Çalışmaya 232 olgu dahil edilerek yaş, cinsiyet, özgeçmiş, soygeçmiş bilgileri, boy, kilo ve vücut kitle indeksi kaydedildi. Olguların patoloji sonuçları incelendi. Veriler SPSS 22.0 programında tanımlayıcı analiz yapılarak değerlendirildi. BULGULAR Morbid obezite nedeniyle SG yapılan 232 olgunun mide spesimeni değerlendirildi. Yirmi iki olguda intestinal metaplazi, 5 olguda endokrin hücre hiperplazisi, 3 olguda gastrointestinal stromal tümör(GİST), 2 olguda leiomyom, 1 olguda squamokolumnar değişim, 1 olguda hiperplastik polip(16mm) ve 2 olguda nöroendokrin tümör saptandı. SONUÇ Morbid obezlerde nöroendokrin tümör; endokrin hiperplazi, GİST, leiyomyom görülme sıklığı artmıştır. Morbid obezlerde görülebilen diğer lezyonlar ele alındığında cerrahi öncesi gastroskopi rutin olarak önerilmekte iken; ultrasonografi ve bilgisayarlı tomografi rutin olarak önerilmemektedir.

PURPOSE Histopathological findings, neuroendocrine tumors and their relationship with obesity in the resection material of morbid obese patients who underwent Sleeve Gastrectomy (SG) will be evaluated. Imaging methods that may be required before surgery will be discussed. MATERIALS-METHODS The morbid obese patients who underwent SG between 2015 and 2020 in our clinic were retrospectively reviewed. Two hundred thirty two patients were included in the study; age, gender, personal history, family history, height, weight and body mass index were recorded. Pathology results of the cases were examined. The data were evaluated using descriptive analysis in SPSS 22.0 program. RESULTS Resection materials of 232 cases were evaluated. As a result, intestinal metaplasia in 22 cases, endocrine cell hyperplasia in 5 cases, gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) in 3 cases, leiomyoma in 2 cases, squamocolumnar change in 1 case, hyperplastic polyps (16mm) in 1 case and neuroendocrine tumor in 2 cases were detected. CONCLUSION The incidence of neuroendocrine tumor, endocrine hyperplasia, GIST, leiomyoma has increased in morbid obese patients. Gastroscopy is routinely recommended before surgery due to the histopathological changes that can be seen in the morbid obese patients, but ultrasonography and computed tomography are not routinely recommended.
