Özet

Enformasyon Devrimi ve beraberinde getirdiği yenilikler, yaşamın her alanını olduğu gibi mimari koruma disiplinini de etkilemektedir. Kültür mirası yapıları korumayı amaçlayan yöntemler bu etkiyle birlikte her geçen gün çeşitlenmektedir. Çağdaş koruma metotlarından biri olan“Adaptive Reuse”da kullanılan yeni yöntemler arasındadır. İleri teknolojileri restorasyon sürecine dahil eden, projelerde koruma kadar tasarımı da öne çıkaran bu yöntem, enformasyon çağının beklentilerini karşılamaya oldukça uygun görünmektedir. Sosyal, çevresel ve ekonomik açılardan sayısız fayda sağlayan“Adaptive Reuse”sıra dışı tasarımlar geliştirerek kültür mirası yapıları değişen dünya düzenine entegre etmektedir. Tez kapsamında teorik okumaları yapılan ve örnekleri incelenen bu yöntem çalışmanın son bölümünde yerel bir örnek üzerinde deneyimlenmiştir. Kayseri, Gesi Hamamı'na farklı seviyelerde müdahalede bulunan üç farklı“Adaptive Reuse”senaryosu üretilmiştir. Bilişim teknolojilerindeki gelişmelerden yararlanan bu senaryolar dijital ortamda hazırlanmıştır. Sonuç aşamasında ise oluşturulan tüm senaryolar üzerinden kültürel miras yapılarında uygulanan“Adaptive Reuse”projelerinin olumlu ve olumsuz etkileri tartışılmıştır.

The Information Revolution and the innovations it brings affect the discipline of architectural preservation as well as every area of life. With this effect, the methods aiming to protect the cultural heritage structures are diversifying day by day.“Adaptive Reuse”, one of the contemporary protection methods, is among the new methods used. This method, which incorporates advanced technologies into the restoration process and emphasizes design as well as protection in projects, seems to be quite suitable for meeting the expectations of the information age.“Adaptive Reuse”, which provides numerous social, environmental and economic benefits, develops extraordinary designs and integrates cultural heritage structures into the changing world order. This method, whose theoretical readings and examples were examined within the scope of the thesis, was experienced on a local example in the last part of the study. Three different“Adaptive Reuse”scenarios were produced, which intervene in Kayseri, Gesi Bath at different levels. These scenarios, which benefit from the developments in information technologies, have been prepared in the digital environment. In the conclusion phase, the positive and negative effects of the“Adaptive Reuse”projects implemented in cultural heritage structures over all the scenarios created were discussed.
