Özet
Bu araştırmada kişilerin destinasyona yönelik algıladıkları riskleri ifade eden turistik destinasyon risk algısı ile kişilerin kendi beceri ve yeteneklerine olan inancını ifade eden öz etkinlik arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Araştırma evrenini Türkiye'de ikamet eden, Van ilini daha önceden ziyaret etmiş ya da henüz ziyaret etmemiş olan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşları oluşturmaktadır. Van ilinin doğal ve kültürel çekiciliklere sahip önemli bir turizm destinasyonu olması ve Van iline yönelik risk algısının yüksek olduğu düşüncesi sebebiyle araştırma alanı olarak Van ili seçilmiştir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan anket tekniği ile veri toplanmıştır. Çevrim içi ve yüz yüze anketler ile elde edilen verilerin homojen olmasına dikkat edilerek 2072 katılımcıdan veri toplanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında katılımcılardan toplanan veriler SPSS programı ile analiz edilerek yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda turistik destinasyon risk algısı ile öz etkinlik inancı arasında negatif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca öz etkinlik düzeyinin bir alt boyutu olan zorluklara atılma-mücadele faktörünün, destinasyon risk algısı üzerinde etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda ilgililere yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.

In this study, the relationship between touristic destination risk perception, which expresses the risks perceived by people towards the destination, and self-efficacy, which expresses people's belief in their own skills and abilities, was examined. The population of the research consists of the citizens of the Republic of Turkey residing in Turkey, who have visited the province of Van before or have not visited yet. The province of Van was chosen as the research area because of the thought that Van province is an important tourism destination with natural and cultural attractions and the risk perception towards Van province is high. In the study, data were collected with the questionnaire technique, which is one of the quantitative research methods. Data were collected from 2072 participants, paying attention to the homogeneity of the data obtained through online and face-to-face surveys. The data collected from the participants within the scope of the research were analyzed and interpreted with the SPSS program. As a result of the research, a negative significant relationship was determined between the touristic destination risk perception and self-efficacy belief. In addition, it was concluded that the factor of throwing into difficulties, which is a sub-dimension of the level of self-efficacy, is effective on the perception of destination risk. In line with the results obtained, suggestions for the interested parties were presented.
