Özet
Araştırmanın genel amacı, Kars ilinde Beden eğitimi öğretmenleri ile diğer branş öğretmenlerinin yetersizlikten etkilenmiş kişilere yönelik tutumlarının karşılaştırılmasıdır. Tutumların belirlenmesinde, Yuker, Block ve Campbell tarafından 1970 yılında engelli bireylere yönelik olumlu ve olumsuz tutumları değerlendirilmek için geliştirilen“Yetersizlikten Etkilenmiş Kişilere Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği”kullanılmıştır. Kişisel bilgiler, demografik sorulardan oluşan anket formu ile toplanmıştır. Beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenleri ile diğer branş öğretmenlerinin engelli bireylere yönelik tutumlarının karşılaştırılmasını amaçlayan bu çalışma, 71 beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni ve 129 diğer branş öğretmenlerinden oluşan 200 kişilik eğitimciden oluşmaktadır. Cinsiyet, yaş, eğitimcilik süresi ve engelli bireylerle ilgili bazı özelliklere ait sorular ile branşlar arasındaki ilişki incelemesinde kare analizi kullanılmıştır. Branşlara göre öğretmenlerin yetersizlikten etkilenmiş kişilere yönelik tutumları incelemesinde bağımsız örneklem t testi kullanılmıştır. Beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin, diğer öğretmenlere göre engelli kişileri engelli olmayan kişilerle daha az farklı şekilde algıladıkları ve daha az ön yargılı tutum içinde oldukları belirlenmiştir. Daha önce engelli bir bireyle çalışma durumu ile öğretmenlerin yetersizlikten etkilenmiş kişilere yönelik tutumları incelemesinde bağımsız örneklem t testi uygulanmıştır. Elde dilen sonuçlara göre ise, daha önce engelli bir birey ile görev yapan öğretmenler, yapmayan öğretmenlere göre engelli kişileri, engelli olmayan kişilerle daha farklı şekilde algıladıkları ve daha fazla ön yargılı tutum içinde oldukları belirlenmiştir.

The general purpose of the study is to compare the attitudes of physical education teachers and other branch teachers in Kars province towards people affected by disability. In determining the attitudes, the“Attitude Scale towards Persons Affected by Disability”developed by Yuker, Block and Campbell in 1970 to evaluate positive and negative attitudes towards persons with disabilities was used. Personal information was collected through a questionnaire form consisting of demographic questions. This study, which aims to compare the attitudes of physical education and sports teachers and other branch teachers towards disabled individuals, consists of 200 trainers, 71 physical education and sports teachers and 129 other branch teachers. Square analysis was used to examine the relationship between the branches and the questions about gender, age, duration of education, and some characteristics of disabled people. Independent sample t test was used to examine teachers' attitudes towards people affected by disability according to branches. It was determined that physical education teachers perceive disabled people less differently than non-disabled people and have less biased attitudes than other teachers. Independent sample t test was used to examine the attitudes of teachers towards people affected by disability and working with a disabled individual before. According to the results obtained, it was determined that teachers who previously worked with a disabled individual perceive disabled people differently than non-disabled people and have more prejudiced attitudes than teachers who did not.
