Özet
Omuz Manyetik Rezonans Görüntülemede Akromion Tipleri ile Rotator Manşet Yırtıkları Arasındaki İlişkinin Değerlendirilmesi, Dr. Abdullah DUMAN, Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Radyoloji Anabilim Dalı, Sivas, 2021 Amaç: Bu çalışmada omuz eklemindeki akromionun açısının ve tipinin, subakromiyal mesafenin rotator manşet patolojileri ile ilişkisini araştırmayı amaçladık. Yöntem: Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi'nde Ortopedi polikliniğine 01.01.2018 - 01.01.2019 tarihleri arasında başvuran ve Radyoloji Anabilim Dalı'nda omuz manyetik rezonans görüntüleme tetkiki yapılan hastalar dahil edildi. Çalışmaya 447 erkek ve 738 kadın olmak üzere 18 yaş ve üzerindeki toplam 1185 hasta dahil edildi. Hastaların konvansiyonel MR görüntülerinden akromion açısı, akromion tipi, subakromial (akromiohumeral) mesafe ve rotator manşet kasları değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Çalışmaya dahil edilen 1185 hastanın 592'sinde supraspinatus kas tendonunda yırtık saptanırken, 593 hastada yırtık saptanmadı. Yırtık ile akromion tipi, akromial açı, subakromial mesafe, cinsiyet yönünden istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki bulunmamış olup yaş ile yırtık gelişimi açısından anlamlı derecede ilişki saptandı (p<0.05). İlerleyen yaşlarda rotator manşet yırtığı görülme sıklığı artmış olarak bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Rotator manşet yırtık gelişimi ile akromial morfoloji arasında ilişki saptanmamış olup, yırtık gelişiminin yaş ilerledikçe kaslarda oluşan değişiklikler ile ilgili olabileceği düşünüldü.

Evaluation of the Relationship Between Acromion Types and Rotator Cuff Tears in Shoulder Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Dr. Abdullah DUMAN, Sivas Cumhuriyet University, Department of Radiology, Sivas, 2021 Aim: In this study, we aimed to investigate the relationship between the angle and type of the acromion in the shoulder joint and the subacromial distance with rotator cuff pathologies. Method: Patients who applied to the Orthopedics outpatient clinic at Sivas Cumhuriyet University Medical Faculty Hospital between 01.01.2018 - 01.01.2019 and had shoulder magnetic resonance imaging in the Department of Radiology were included. A total of 1185 patients aged 18 and over, 447 men and 738 women, were included in the study. Acromion angle, acromion type, subacromial (acromiohumeral) distance and rotator cuff muscles were evaluated from conventional MR images of the patients. Results: While 592 of the 1185 patients included in the study had tears in the supraspinatus muscle tendon, no tear was found in 593 patients. There was no statistically significant relationship with the tear in terms of acromion type, acromial angle, subacromial distance, gender, and a significant correlation was found between age and tear development (p <0.05). The incidence of rotator cuff tears has been found to be increased in advanced ages. Conclusion: No relationship was found between rotator cuff tear development and acromial morphology, and it was thought that the development of the tear may be related to the changes in the muscles as the age progresses.
