Özet
ÖZET Nüfûsun hızla artmasına karşın doğal dengenin en önemli olan ormanlarımız hızlı bir biçimde azalmakta ve buna paralel olarak orman ürünleri sanayisi iş kolundaki sorunlar hızla büyümektedir. Orman ürünleri sanayisinde arz ve talep çatışması ile bu iş kolundaki küçük ve orta ölçekli işletmelerin sorunları birlikte dikkatle incelenmesi gerekmekte olan iki önemli konudur. Araştırmada İçel ilinde faaliyet gösteren küçük ve orta ölçekli orman ürünleri sanayi işletmelerinin sosyo-ekonomik tahlili anket yöntemi uygulanarak incelenmiştir. Genel bilgiler bölümünde küçük ve orta ölçekli işletmelerin genel yapısı, tanımı, Türkiye'deki ve dünyadaki yerleri ve önemleri sektörel bir ayrım gözetmeksizin sunulmuştur. Bunun nedeni imalat sanayiinde küçük ve orta boy işletmelerin genellikle aynı sorun ve çözüm yollarına sahip olmaları ile benzer sosyo-ekonomik yapıda bulunmalarıdır. Çalışmamızın daha sonraki bölümlerinde sırasıyla materyal ve yöntem teorik çalışmalar olarak sunulmuş, anket sonucunda elde edilen bulgular üçüncü bölümde ortaya konulmuş, bu bulgular dördüncü bölümde değerlendirilmiş, beşinci bölümde sonuçlar sunulmuş, öneriler ise altıncı bölümü oluşturmuştur. Yapılan araştırmalar ve hesaplamalar sonucunda çalışmanın konusunu oluşturan işletmelerin temel sorunları belirlenmiş, çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir. Ayrıca örnekleme tekniğine uygun bir biçimde yapılan istatistik değerlendirmelerle İçel ilindeki işletme yapılan ve çalışma konulan belirlenmiştir.

SUMMARY As a result of rapid increase in population, forests which are an integral part of natural balance, have been dramatically decreasing. Thus problems associated with forestry, are in the rise. In this regard, the supply and demand conflicts and problems in small and middle - sized establishments in the forest product industry are two major issues which require close attention. In order to search for the quality standards of small and middle sized forest products industry establishments province of İçel is taken as an example and it is applied an questionnaire there. In general knowledge part, the general structure, meaning, and the importantance of small and middle sized establishments and their position in Turkey is and in the world's economy is presented without making a sectorel difference. This is because of the reason that one or less all of the small and middle sized establishments in production industry have the similar problems an the same solutions. So they have similar socio economic structures. In the previous part of this research material and method is presented as teorical studies, in the second part, in third part the discoveries are given which are found out by questionnaire method. This discoveries are utilized in the fourth part. In the fifth part the results are presented and the suggestions are given in the sixth part. The principal objective of this study is to examine the status of small and medium sized forest product industry in the province of İçel. The present study has identified the main problems of the establishments and solutions for these problems were proposed.
