Özet
Anne sütü ile beslenme yenidoğan için doğru beslenme şeklidir. Yapılan araştırmalar sonucu ve ülkemizde ilk altı ay sadece anne sütü ile beslenme oranları istenilen düzeyde değildir. Hemşireler; geçerlilik ve güvenirliği yapılmış ölçeklerle emzirmeyi değerlendirmeli ve buna uygun eğitim planı oluşturup, etkin emzirmenin sağlanması için anneyi eğitmelidir. Bu çalışma; Bristol Emzirme Değerlendirme Ölçeği İle Emzirme Başarısının Değerlendirilmesi amacı ile tanımlayıcı olarak gerçekleştirildi. Araştırmanın evrenini, İstanbul'da bulunan bir Devlet Hastanesinde Aralık 2019-Mayıs 2020 tarihleri arasında doğumhane ve kadın doğum birimine müracaat eden ve doğumu gerçekleşen term, sağlıklı bebekler ve anneleri oluşturdu. Örneklemini ise, araştırmaya gönüllü anne ve bebekleri oluşturdu. Veriler“Tanıtıcı Bilgiler Formu”ve“Bristol Emzirme Değerlendirme Ölçeği”kullanılarak toplandı. Verilerin analizi SPSS 22.0 paket programı ile analiz edildi. Araştırma sonucuna göre; 38 hafta ve üzeri gestasyon haftasında olan ve 3000-4000 gram aralığında doğan bebeklerin BEDÖ puanlarının diğer gruplara göre anlamlı yüksek olduğu tespit edildi (p<0.05). 5. saatteki kan şekeri düzeyi 50-60 mg aralığında olan bebeklerin BEDÖ ölçek puanının diğer gruplara göre anlamlı yüksek olduğu belirlendi (p<0.05). Bebeklerin 5. saatteki ve 12 saatteki BEDÖ puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı fark belirlendi (p<0.05). Yenidoğanların 5. saatteki puan ortalaması 5,55±0,96, 12. saatteki BEDÖ puan ortalamaları ise 7,01±0,799, bulundu. Bu sonuçlara göre annelerin etkin emzirme gerçekleştirdiği saptandı. Yenidoğanın intrauterin gelişiminin son ana kadar gerçekleşmesi için normal doğumun desteklenmesi, çocuk sağlığının gelişimi için postpartum dönemde hemşireler tarafından emzirme takibi sağlanarak eksikliklerin tamamlanması sürdürülebilir emzirme için önem taşımaktadır.

EVALUATION OF BREASTFEEDING SUCCESS WİTH BRISTOL BREASTFEEDING ASSESSMENT TOOL Breastfeeding is the right way nutrition for the newborn. According to the result of the researches made in our country; in the first six months the rates of feeding only with breast milk isn't at the desired level. Nurses should evaluate breastfeeding done with valid and reliable scales. According to these results, health care personnel should prepare education plan and educate the mothers to ensure effective breastfeeding. This work that is prepared descriptively using Bristol Breastfeeding assessment tool in order to ensure breastfeeding in a successful way. This study has done in a State Hospital in İstanbul from December 2019 to May 2020 and consists of terms, healthy babies and mothers who applied the delivery room and gynecology unit. The samples of the research consists of the mothers and their babies who volunteered for the research.The data were collected using the“Introductory information section and the Bristol Breastfeeding Assessment Tool”. Analysis of data was analyzed with SPSS 22.0 package program. According to the results of the research; it was determined that the BBAT scores of babies born with a gestational age of 38 weeks or more and between 3000-4000 grams were significantly higher than other groups (p<0.05). It was determined that babies whose blood glucose level at the 5th hour was between 50-60 mg had a significantly higher BBAT scale score at the 5th hour compared to the other groups (p<0.05). A significant difference was determined between the babies average of the 5th hour BBAT scores and their 12th hour BBAT scores (p<0.05). It was determined that the average of BBAT scores of newborns at the 12th hour was higher than the average of BBAT scores at the 5th hour. As a result, vaginal delivery shoul be supported for intrauterine development of the newborn until the last moment. In the postpartum period, completing the deficiencies by providing breastfeeding follow-up by nurses is important for sustainable breastfeeding.
