Özet
Teknolojideki gelişmeler, bilginin elde ediliş biçiminide değiştirmiştir. Önceden bilgiye fiziksel olarak erişim mümkünken, teknolojideki gelişmelerle birlikte elektronik ortamda erişim de mümkün hale gelmiştir. Tezin amacı, Atatürk Üniversitesinde kullanılan Elektronik Belge Yönetim Sisteminin (EBYS) verimliliği üzerine personelin algısını incelemek ve EBYS'yi daha iyi tanıtmaktır. Bu kapsamda çalışmanın kuramsal kısmını bilgi, bilgi yönetimi, belge, belge yönetimi, belge yönetimi süreçleri EBYS, Kayıtlı Elektronik Posta (KEP) ve verimlilik gibi konular oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemi olan betimsel araştırma kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak anket tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu 2019 yılında Atatürk Üniversitesinde çalışan 4368 akademik ve idari personel oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistikler olan yüzde (%) ve sayılardan (N) yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulardan durum saptaması yapılmıştır. Tespit edilen sorunlara yönelik öneriler ortaya koyulmuştur.

Advances in technology have changed the way information is obtained. While physical access to information was previously possible, electronic developments have become possible with advances in technology. The aim of this thesis is to examine the perceptions of the personel on the efficiency of Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) used in Atatürk University and to introduce EDMS better. In this context, the theoretical part of the study consists of knowledge, knowledge management, document, document management, document management processes, EDMS, Registered Electronic Mail (REM) and productivity. Descriptive research, which is a quantitative research method, was used in the study. Survey technique was used as data collection tool. The study group consists of 4368 academic and administrative staff working at Atatürk University in 2019. Descriptive statistics (%) and numbers (N) were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, the situation was determined from the findings. Suggestions were made for the problems identified.
