Özet
Haşmet Zeybek (1948-2013), araştıran, sorgulayan, dünyaya farklı açıdan bakan bir sanatçıdır. Tiyatroya bütün sanat ve sosyal disiplinlerin üzerinde bakan, dünyayı bir tiyatro sahnesi olarak gören Zeybek, tiyatro adına bugüne değin gelen tüm kalıplara da meydan okumuştur. Köy Seyirliklerin modern tiyatronun prehistoryası olduğu tezini öne sürmüştür. Modern tiyatronun alt verisi, basit hali veyahut daha ilkel hali olan seyirlik oyunların, öz ve biçimleri üzerinde çıkarım yapıp, modern tiyatro ile bir sentez oluşturmuş, bu sentezi“Gelenekten Geleceğe”adı altında kuramlaştırmıştır. Tiyatroya doğu-batı ayrımından bakmayan, kültürler arası etkileşimi ve bağları temele koyarak kendine özgü bir tiyatro anlayışı benimseyen Zeybek,“Karşılaştırmalı Mitoloji”çalışmaları ile kendi kuramını temellendirmiş ve bu bağlamda eserler üretmiştir. Köy seyirlikleri, Bizans geleneği olarak bildiğimiz mimuslar ile birleştirmiştir. Anadolu kültürel mirasının günümüz sanatı ile bağlarının kurulmasına adım atmıştır.

Haşmet Zeybek (1948-2013) is a man of art who investigates and questions the facts and who has a different point of view on the world. He who holds theatre something that is above all art and social diciplines and who sees the whole World as an theatre stage, had withstood against the whole structures used until present. He defended the thesis that Dramatic Village Plays were the prehistory of the modern theatre. He had taken the sub data and simple structure of the modern theatre and using the primitive structure of the Dramatic Village Plays, he had made a synthesis of the The Dramatic Village Plays and the modern theatre based on the main base and structure of them. This synthesis was theorized as“From Tradition to Future”. Zeybek who does not have a distinction of West and East distinction for theatre, had adopted an understanding of theatre that places the interactions and bonds between cultures as a foundation had founded his theory on“Comparative Mytholoji”(Karşılaştırmalı Mitoloji) studies and produced Works on that idea. The Dramatic Village Plays were combined with mimusus that were known as a Byzantian tradition. He had also taken steps to have the cultural heritage of Anatolia to have bonds with the present day arts.
