Özet
ii ÖZET Sanayi devriminden günümüze tek ailelik konuttan, konut grubu ve toplu konutlara kadar uzanan gereksinim sürecinde konut açığını giderme uğruna açık mekanlar ihmal edilmiştir. Bunun sonucu olarak üretilen konut alanlarında bir takım olumsuzluklar (Vandalizm, sahiplenme psikolojisinden uzaklaşma, yabancılaşma ve geri çekilme gibi) yaşanmaktadır. Tasarım sürecinde öngörülen kullanıcı sayısına koşut bir planlamanın yapılmaması ve sosyo-kültürel ve psikolojik verilerin bu aşamada değerlendirilmemesi olumsuzlukların nedeni olarak gösterilmektedir. Tez; bu yaşanan olumsuzluklara çeşitli çözüm önerileri sunmak amacıyla hazırlanmıştır, içeriğinde bahçenin tarihçesine yer verilmiş ve bahçe oluşumuna etki eden faktörlere değinilmiştir. Bu süreç içerisinde Osmanlı bahçelerinin yapısal ve fonksiyonel özellikleri anlatılmıştır. Ayrıca geleneksel Anadolu evinde iç mekan-dış mekan kurgulamasının çağdaş yorumu; günümüz“konut ve yakın çevre”oluşumuna ulaşılmak istenen bir sonuç olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Bu sonuca katkı sağlamak amacıyla geleneksel Anadolu evinde, sokak ya da iç bahçeden baş odaya kadar kademe kademe mimariye geçişin işlevsel sürekliliği; Ankara ve Antalya ev örnekleriyle açıklamaya çalışılmıştır.iii V. ve VI. bölümlerde konut yakın çevre oluşumuna etki eden faktörler ve ölçüsel çözümler; çeşitli yönleri, örnekler ve yasal koşullara dikkat çekilerek sunulmuştur. Ayrıca“ekler”bölümünde yaşayan örneklerle desteklenmiştir.

IV SUMMARY Within the period starting from industrial revolution up today, the open spaces have been ignored for the sake of decreasing the housing deficit in the housing supply process covering single family housing, housing groups and mass housing. So, there have been a series of drawbacks, negativeness (as, Vandalism,“having the feeling of its none of my business”, unawareness, being an estrangement etc.) The main couses for this situation have been; lack of participation of users at the designing stage, and so the physcologal data or variables cannot be, generally evaluated. The main objective of this thessis is to state different proposals for these issues. The history of gardens and the factors affecting this process are explained in the first section. In this part the functional and structural characteristics of Ottoman's gardens is also given. The interpretation of interior-exterior spaces of a traditional Anatolian house is evoluated as the final achievement for the current“housing nearby environment”process. In order to emphasize this result, the functional continuity of, step by step transition to the building (i.e. from street or garden to the main room for the vernecullar Anatolian house) is explained with Ankara and Antalya cases.In the“V”and“VI”chapters, the factors affecting the housing nearby environment and some measurement scalas are given by giving legislative arrangements, on different examples. In the appendix section, the subject is supported by current examples.
