Özet
11 ÖZET Erken Osmanlı Döneminde kullanılan geçiş elemanlarım konu alan tez çalışması, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin sınırlan içinde kalan, 1299-1453 tarihleri arasında inşa edilmiş olan Çok İşlevli Camiler üzerinde gerçekleşmiştir. Geçiş elemanları ile ilgili olarak tespit edilen Terminoloji, Tipoloji ve Çeşitlilik sorunları, çalışmanın temel araştırma ve inceleme konularım oluşturmuştur. Bu doğrultuda yapılan çalışma öncelikle, tezin kapsamı içerisinde kalan, çok işlevli camilerdeki kubbeli mekanların ve bu mekanlarda kullanılan geçiş elemanlarının tasviri doğrultusunda gerçekleşmiştir. Bu şekilde oluşan katalogdan elde edilen bilgiler çerçevesinde tespit edilen geçiş elemanlarının belirgin ayna özelliklerinin araştırılmasıyla bir tipoloji oluşturulmuştur. Ayırıcı özellikler, geçiş elemanının kullanıldığı mekanın özellikleri ile ilişkilerinin araştırılması sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bunun yanında, tez kapsamında tespit edilen ve tipolojik sınıflandırma içerisinde yer alan her elemanın kubbeye geçişi gerçekleştirdiği görülmüştür. Buna karşın, her dönemde çeşitli geçiş elemanlarının kullanılması, geçiş elemanlarının, mekanın işlevi, dönem ve yerleşim yeri gibi aktörler çerçevesinde değerlendirilmesi gerektiğini ortaya koymuştur. Yapılan bu değerlendirmeler, bu aktörlerden 'mekanın işlevinin' geçiş elemanlarının kullanımı üzerinde etkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda, yapılan tüm araştırma ve incelemelerden elde edilen bilgilerin değerlendirilmesiyle, geçiş elemanının, kubbe ile örtülü mekanın içerisinde, zeminden başlayarak gelişen kubbeye geçişin bir parçasını oluşturduğu görülmüştür.

Ill SUMMARY The thesis study regarding transition elements of the Early Ottoman Period has been realized on the Multipurpose Mosques that have been constructed in the period of 1299-1453, which are located within the borders of Turkish Republic. The Terminology, Typology and Diversity problems that have been determined with regards to the transition elements have constituted the basic research and examination subjects. The study which has been realized in this framework, has been executed in line with the description of the dome covered places and the transition elements used in these places of the multi-purpose mosques, which are covered in the scope of the thesis. A typology has been formed by means of investigation of the distinctive features of the transition elements which have been determined in accordance with the information obtained from the catalogs that have been formed as described above. As a result of the examination of the distinctive features, the study regarding relation between the transition elements and the features of the place in which these are untilized, has emerged. In addition, it has been seen that every element, which has been determined in the scope of the thesis and included in a topological classification, realized the transition to the dome. On the other hand, untilization of various transition elements in each period, has made it necessary to examine the transition elements in the framework of the factors such as function of the location, period and layout. These evaluations has shown that“ function of the location”has been the most significant factor on the utilization of the transition elements. As a conclusion of this study, upon the evaluation of the information acquired from the researches and studies conducted, it has been seen that the transition element forms a part of the transition to the dome that starts from the ground of the section covered with a dome.
