Özet
ÖZET Bu tezin amacı, ortaokul seviyesindeki öğrencilerimize Türkçenin öğretilmesinde kaynak olarak kullanılan dil bilgisi kitaplarını incelemektir. İnceleme sonucunda tespit edilen olumsuzluklara çözüm niteliğinde teklifler önermektir. Tezin giriş bölümünde iyi bir dil öğretiminde nelerin olması gerektiği vurgulandı. Kanunlarda Türkçenin korunması ile ilgili hükümlere yer verildi. Birinci bölümde, 1929, 1951 ve 1981 Türkçe programları karşılaştırılarak dil bilgisi konuları bakımından değerlendirmesi yapıldı. İkinci bölümde, dil bilgisi kitapları iki aşamada incelendi. Birinci aşamada, kitaplar şekil bakımından tanıtıldı. Ders kitaplarında bulunması gereken fiziki özellikler, kâğıt, baskı, resim, kaynakça, dizin, içindekiler gibi yönlerden karşılaştırıldı. İkinci aşamada ise, incelenen dil bilgisi kitaplarının muhteva yönünden bir karşılaştırması yapıldı. Kitaplar; tanım, terim, sınıflandırma, yaklaşımlar, örnek ve alıştırmalar yönünden değerlendirildi. Sonuç ve değerlendirme bölümünde, dil bilgisi kitapları ve programları değerlendirildi. Dil öğretiminde kaynak olarak kullandığımız dil bilgisi kitapları ve programları ile ilgili tekliflere yer verildi. Dil bilgisi kitapları; öğrenciye, öğrendiklerinin sadece ders için olmadığını, sosyal hayatta da ihtiyaç olduğunu kavratacak nitelikte olmalıdır. Bunu gerçekleştirmek için de dil bilgisi öğretiminde klasik anlayıştan sıyrılmak gerektiği üzerinde durulmuştur.

ABSTRAKT The purpose of this thesis is to examine grammer books which are used as source books to teach Turkish language to our secondary schools' students, and propose solutions to problems which have been found. At the introductory section, it was emphasized what is necessary for a good language teaching. The articles of laws about protection of Turkish language also took part in this section. At the first section, the comparison of Turkish lessons programs of years 1929,1951 and 1981 were made and grammar subjects of these programs were evaluated. At the second section, grammar books were examined in two phases. In phase one, the formats of the books were introduced. Comparison of these books by their physical teatures which a school book must contain were also made from the point of view their paper guality, printing, pictures, sorces, composition, coutents. In phase two, the contents of the examined grammar books were compared. Definitions, terms, classifications, examples and exercises of the books were evaluated. At the final section, grammar books and programs were evaluated. Sugestions for grammar books and programs which are used as sources for teaching language takes part in this section. Grammar books must be prepared such a way that students should realise that learning grammer is not only a lesson for grades but they need it during all their social lives.To realize that, it is necessary to give up from classic language teaching.This point of view was emphasized at the thesis.
