Özet
İslam eğitim tarihinde önemli ilim öğrenme metodu olan rıhle, Hz. Peygamber (sav.) döneminde İslam dinini öğrenme gayesi ile ortaya çıkmıştır. Süreç içerisinde fetihlerle birlikte birçok âlimin farklı bölgelere dağılmasıyla ilim bu bölgelere taşınmıştır. Bu durum mekânsal olarak rıhle metodunun kapsamını genişletmiştir. Köken itibari ile dini ilimlerin öğrenimine dayanan rıhle metodu zamanla tüm ilimleri de kapsamış sistematik hale gelerek uygulana gelmiştir. Hatta günümüzün modern dönem rıhleleri diyebileceğimiz Farabi, Mevlana ve Erasmus gibi ulusal ve uluslararası alanda öğrenci değişim programlarıyla bütünleşerek bu kadim gelenek sürdürülmeye devam etmektedir.

Journeys of knowledge which has been an important education method in islamic education history came into view with the intention of learning the islamic religion in times of the prophet Muhammed (sav.). In the process, science was moved to these regions with the distribution of many scholars to different regions along with the conquests. This spatially expanded the scope of the method journey of knowledge. Journeys of knowledge was originallly depend pn relligions knowledge but in process of time involved all kinds of knowledge has been aplplied since then. The method of Journeys of knowledge, based primarily on learning religious knowledge, has become systematic and applied over time, encompassing all knowledge. In fact, this ancient tradition continues to be maintained by integrating with national and international student exchange programs such as Farabi, Mevlana and Erasmus, which we can call modern journeys of knowledge of today.
