Özet
Bu çalışmada, yeni ve eski nesil piezocerrahi aletleri ile konvansiyonel döner el aletinin osteotomi sonrası kemik üzerinde yaptığı etkilerin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, ortalama 2,5 kg ağırlığında, 3-4 aylık, 12 adet, erişkin Yeni Zelanda tipi beyaz erkek tavşan kullanılmıştır. Tavşanların parietal kemiklerinde, sağ ön tarafta eski nesil piezocerrahi aleti (EMS Piezon Master Surgery, İsviçre), sol ön tarafta yeni nesil piezocerrahi aleti (Acteon Piezotome Cube, Fransa) ve bu iki defektin arkasında orta hat üzerinde konvansiyonel döner el aleti (MİS W&H Fizyodispanser, Avusturya) ile 8'er mm çapında kemik defektleri oluşturulmuştur. Defektlere herhangi bir materyal yerleştirilmeyip, defekt alanı sadece steril serum fizyolojikle yıkanmış ve oluşan kan pıhtısıyla normal iyileşme sürecine bırakılmıştır. Cerrahi işlem sonrası 7. ve 21. günlerde deney hayvanları sakrifiye edilerek histopatolojik, histokimyasal ve histomorfometrik olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan histopatolojik değerlendirme sonucunda kısa dönem takipte yeni nesil piezocerrahi aletleri ile açılan defekt alanlarındaki dolumun (kemik ve bağ doku) diğer gruplara göre daha fazla olduğu ancak orta dönem takipte gruplar arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the effects of new and old generation piezosurgery instruments and conventional rotary hand tools on bone after osteotomy. In the study, 12 adult, New Zealand type white male rabbits weighing an average of 2.5 kg were used. In the parietal bones of the rabbits, bone defects with a diameter of 8 mm were created with the old generation piezosurgery tool (EMS Piezon Master Surgery, Switzerland) on the right front, the new generation piezosurgery tool (Acteon Piezotome Cube, France) on the left front and the conventional rotary hand tool (MIS W&H Physiodispanser, Austria) on the middle line behind these two defects. No material was placed in the defects, the defect area was washed only with sterile saline and left to the normal healing process with the blood clot formed. Experimental animals were sacrificed on the 7th and 21st days after the surgical procedure and evaluated histopathologically, histochemically and histomorphometrically. As a result of histopathological evaluation, it was determined that filling (bone and connective tissue) in the defect areas opened with new generation piezosurgery tools was higher in the short term follow up compared to other groups, but there was no significant difference between the groups in the mid term follow up.
