Özet
Esnek üretim sistemleri gelişmiş sanayi toplumlarında yoğunluk kazanmış bulunmaktadır. Esnek üretim sistemleri ile KOBİ'ler arasında çok yakın bir ilişki sözkonusudur. Esnek üretim sistemlerinin önem kazanmasıyla önümüzdeki yüzyılın en önemli ekonomik birimleri KOBİ'ler olacaktır. Ülkemizdeki KOBİ'lerde de bir hareketlenme başlamış bulunmaktadır. Ülkemiz KOBİ'lerinin mevcut problemlerinin çözümlenerek dünyadaki bu gelişmeye paralel bir şekilde KOBİ'lerin ülke ekonomisinin itici gücü olması sağlanmalıdır. Sözkonusu bu tez çalışması, dikkatlerin KOBİ'lere yöneldiği bu dönemde, KOBİ'leri, ülkemiz KOBİ'lerinin ekonomideki yerini ve önemini tartışmakta, işletme ve yönetim fonksiyonları ile ilgili mevcut problemlerine değinerek, çözümlerinin neler olabileceği hususlarına değinmektedir.

Applications of flexible production systems have increased in industrial communities. It must be mentioned that there is close relation between flexible production system and small and medium sized companies. Within next century, small and medium sized companies will be most important economic unit due to increased importance of flexible production system. It is observed that progressive movement of small and medium sized companies has initiated within our country. Current problems of Turkish small and medium sized compenies must be solved and these companies must be done most important factor ensuring economic progress in accordance with progress occuring through the world. During this period on which all attentions are paid to small and medium sized companies, this thesis has aimed to discuss small and medium sized companies and the place and importance of small and medium sized companies within Turkish economy and to mention of current problems for organizational and manegerial functions of these firms and to explain that what kind of solutions can be produced for these problems xv
