Özet
Bu çalışmada ortaokul 7.sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersinde bilimsellik değerinin animasyonlarla kazandırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu hususta bilimsellik değerine ilişin animasyon uygulaması yapılan deney grubu ile normal ders işlenen kontrol grubu arasında bu değeri kazanma bakımında anlamlı bir fark olup olmadığını, değerin kazandırılmasında animasyonların etkili olup olmadığını tespit etmek hedeflenmiştir. Derinlemesine yürütülmek istenilen bu araştırmada gelişmiş karma yöntem tasarımlarından açımlayıcı sıralı karma desen kullanılmıştır. Açımlayıcı sıralı desende nicel verilerden faydalanabilir ardından bu verileri tamamlamak ve rafine edebilmek için nitel veriler toplamaktadır. Araştırmanın nicel boyutunda tam deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Bu desenlerden bilimsel değeri en yüksek deneme modeli olan Solomon Dört Grup Modeli tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmanın nitel kısmında durumlara yönelik derin bir bakış açısı sağladığından nitel yaklaşımlardan durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın evrenini Sivas ilinde öğrenim gören ortaokul 7.sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu ise Sivas ili Merkez ilçesinde 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılının bahar döneminde Mevlana ve Ziya Gökalp ortaokulunda öğrenim gören 7. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın nicel kısmında Bilimsellik Ölçeği kullanılarak veriler toplanmıştır. Nitel kısmında ise yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan nicel ve nitel verilerin analizleri sonucunda; deney ve kontrol grubunda bulunan öğrencilerin Bilimsellik Ölçeğinin bütününden aldıkları son test puanlarının aritmetik ortalamaları arasında deney grubunun lehinde olmak üzere anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan nitel veriler de bu sonuçları destekler niteliktedir. Bu noktada nicel ve nitel verilerin analiz edilmesiyle değer kazandırmanın animasyonlar yoluyla yapılmasının istatistiksel açıdan manidar bir şekilde öğrencilerin lehine olduğu görülmüştür. Bu sonuca göre, değer kazandırma noktasında animasyonlarla uygulanmasının öğrencilerin değer kazanma başarılarında meydana gelen anlamlı fark üzerindeki etkisinin geleneksel yönteme oranla çok daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür.

In this study, it is aimed to gain scientific value with animations in 7th grade social studies course. In this regard, it is aimed to determine whether there is a meaningful difference between the experimental group and the control group in which normal animation is applied, and whether the animations are effective in gaining the value. In this research, which is intended to be carried out in depth, exploratory sequential mixed pattern is used from advanced mixed method designs. Solomon Four Group Models were preferred. In the qualitative part of the study, a case study was used as one of the qualitative approaches since it provides a deep perspective on the situations. The population of this study is composed of seventh grade secondary school students studying in Sivas. The sample of the study consists of 7th grade students studying in Mevlana and Ziya Gökalp secondary schools in the spring term of 2018-2019 academic year in the central district of Sivas. In the quantitative part of the research, data were collected using the Scientific Scale. In the qualitative part, semi-structured interview form was used. As a result of the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data collected in the research; It was found that there was a significant relationship between the arithmetic means of the posttest scores of the students in the experimental and control groups in the favor of the experimental group. The qualitative data collected in the study also supports these results. At this point, it was seen that the quantitative and qualitative data analysis was done in animations and that the gaining of value through animations was in favor of the students. According to this result, it has been observed that the effect of applying animations at the point of appreciation point on the meaningful difference occurred in students' achievement gains is much higher than the traditional method.
