ORTA ANADOLU GELENEKSEL KONUTLARININ YENİLEME PROBLEMLERİNE ~İR ÖRNEK (Yüksek Lisans Tezi) Hüsnü TOPRAK % GAZI jNİVERSITESÎ PEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ Şubat 1989 ÖZ Bu çalışmada, hırış yapım tekniği ile yapılmış Or ta Anadolu geleneksel konutlarında fiziksel yıpranma ve fonksiyonel bozulmanın gerektirdiği yenileme ile ilgili sorunların belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, örnek seçilen hımış yapılı bir Sivas konutu üzerinde, gözlem ve görüşme metotları ile çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada, ge leneksel konut tipleri malzeme ve yapım tekniği yönün den tanıtıldıktan sonra örnek konutun taşıyıcı sistem leri ve konstrüks iyonu ortaya konmaktadır. Fiziksel yıpranma ile fonksiyonel bozulmanın genel anlatımından sonra, konutta meydana gelen fiziksel yıpranmalar ve fonksiyonel bozulmalar ile bugüne kadar yapılan fonksi yonel yenilemenin oluşturduğu strüktür ve eleman bozul maları açıklanmaktadır. Çalışmanın sonunda, önerilen fonksiyonel yenilemeden kaynaklanacak strüktürel bozul ma ve fiziksel yıpratmayla ilgili genel sorunlar sapta narak çözüm önerileri getirilmektedir.

II AN EXAMPLE TO THE RESTORATION PROBLEMS OP TRADITIONAL HOUSINGS OP MIDDLE ANATOLIA (M.Sc. Thesis) Hüsnü TOPRAK GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OP SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY February 1989 ABSTRACT In this study, the determination of physical deto- riation and functional destruction that necessiates the problems regarding the restoration of the traditional mid-anatolian housings of timber construction is aimed. Por this purpose, a Sivas house of timber construction is chosen as specimen and it is studied via observation and interviev methods. In the study, after presenting traditional houses from the standpoint of material and structural properties, construction and supporting sys tems of the sample house are put down. After the gene ral description of physical detoriation and functional destruction, the physical detoriation and functional destruction that are exposed on the house with the deto- riations of the structure and elements after the func tional restorations made up to date are explained. At the and of the study, general problems arising from the suggested functional restorations regarding the struc tural destruction and physical detoriation are estab lished and suggestions for the solutions to these prob lems are brought.
