Özet
Türk edebiyatına büyük katkıları olan Mustafa Kutlu (d. 1947), elli yıllık sanat hayatında birçok türde eser ortaya koymuş bir yazar ve aynı zamanda bir eğitimcidir. Edebiyat eğitiminin insana kattığı iyiyi ve güzeli görebilme, doğruyu ve yanlışı ayırt edebilme, duygu ve düşünceleri etkili bir şekilde ifade edebilme gibi özelliklerin Kutlu'nun eserlerindeki yorumu, incelemenin amacını oluşturur. Araştırmada Kutlu'nun 2018 Nisan tarihine kadar yayımlanmış olan 29 hikâye ve 8 denemesi incelenmiştir. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında doküman inceleme yöntemi ve tarama modeli kullanılarak hikâye ve denemelerde yer alan eğitimle ilgili unsurlar tespit edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak elde edilen veriler altı ana başlıkta toplanmıştır. Bu başlıklar, eğitim sorunları, eğitim toplum ilişkisi, eğitim sistemine yönelik eleştiriler, meslek eğitimi ve yaşam boyu öğrenme, kitap okuma alışkanlığı ve okuma ile eğitim liderliği şeklinde, en çok bulgu elde edilen konudan en az bulgu elde edilen konuya doğru sıralanmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda Mustafa Kutlu'nun eserlerinde tespit edilen eğitim sorunları şunlardır: fırsat eşitliğinin olmaması, eğitimin yetersizliği, eğitimin genel amaç ve ilkelerine uyulamaması, eğitime verilen değerin azalması, kısa yoldan para kazanma isteğinin eğitimli olmanın önüne geçmesi, eğitimli kişilerin işsiz kalması (istihdam sorunu), eğitim sisteminin sürekli değişmesinin zararları, öğretmenlere hak ettiği değerin verilmemesi, ülkenin kitap okuma oranının düşük olması, sanat ve sosyal alanlar eğitimine yeterince önem verilmemesi, vb. Ayrıca Kutlu'nun eserlerinde meslek eğitiminin babadan oğula geçtiği, usta- çırak ilişkisinin önemsendiği, yaygın eğitimden faydalanarak yaşam boyu öğrenmenin sağlanabileceği ve eğitimde liderlik vasıflarına sahip idealist bireylere ihtiyaç duyulduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

Mustafa Kutlu (1947) is a writer and an educator who made significant contributions to Turkish literature and has produced many kinds of works in his fifty years of art life. The purpose of the current study is to interpret the features in Kutlu's work, such as seeing the goodness and beauty of people, distinguishing between right and wrong, and expressing emotions and thoughts effectively. Kutlu's twenty-nine stories and eight essays published until April 2018 were analyzed. In the collection of the research data, the elements related to the education included in the stories and essays of him were determined by using document analysis method and scanning model. In the analysis of the data, the data obtained by using content analysis method were merged under six main titles. These topics are listed and interpreted from the most common subject to the least common subject, such as educational problems, the relationship between education and society, criticisms of the education system, vocational education and lifelong learning, reading attitudes and educational leadership with reading. As a result of the research, the educational problems identified in Mustafa Kutlu's works are: opportunity gap in education, inadequacy of education, failure to comply with the general aims and principles of education, decrease in the value given to education, the desire to make money rather than obtaining an education, the unemployment of educated people (employment problem), the damages of constant changes in the education system, not giving the teachers value they deserve, the low rate of reading books in the country, not paying enough attention to the arts and social education. In addition, the results of the study indicate that vocational education is passed from father to son, the relationship between artisans and craftsmen is important, lifelong learning can be provided by using non-formal education, and idealistic individuals with leadership qualities are needed in education.
