Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı eğitsel oyun kullanımı ile matematik öğretiminin 7.sınıf öğrencilerinin tam sayılarla işlemler konusundaki matematik dersine ilişkin tutumuna ve akademik başarısına etkisini incelemektir. Çalışma ön test son test deney ve kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırma Kahramanmaraş ili Göksun ilçesinde bir devlet ortaokulunda küme rastgele örnekleme yönteme ile 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında yedinci sınıf düzeyinde öğrenim gören iki şubedeki 66 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sayılar ve İşlemler öğrenme alanının alt öğrenme alanı olan Tam Sayılarla İşlemler konusunun öğretimi, altı hafta süresince, 33 kişilik deney grubuna mevcut öğretim programı yöntemlerine ek olarak eğitsel oyunlarla gerçekleştirilirken 33 kişilik kontrol grubuna ise yalnızca mevcut öğretim programı yöntemleri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada deney grubuna araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan 9 eğitsel oyun uygulanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Tam Sayılarla İşlemler Başarı Testi ile Gülburnu ve Yıldırım (2015) tarafından geliştirilen İlkokul ve Ortaokul Öğrencilerine Yönelik Matematik Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler normal dağılımda olduğundan SPSS programında bağımlı ve bağımsız gruplar için t testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizde başarı ve tutum son test puanları karşılaştırıldığında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın sonucunda eğitsel oyun kullanımı ile matematik öğretiminin akademik başarıyı ve matematik dersine yönelik tutumu olumlu yönde etkilediği görülmüştür. Bu sonuca göre matematik öğretmenlerinin sınıf düzeyine ve konuya uygun olacak şekilde eğitsel oyunlar tasarlamaları ve derslerinde kullanmaları önerilmektedir.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of the use of educational games and mathematics teaching on the attitudes and academic achievement of 7th grade students about mathematics course on integer operations. The study was carried out using pre-test post-test experimental and control group quasi-experimental design. The study was conducted with 66 students in seventh grade in a secondary school in Göksun district of Kahramanmaraş province in 2018-2019 academic year. Teaching of the Numbers and Transactions, which is the sub-learning area of the Learning Area, was carried out with educational games in addition to the existing curriculum methods for the experimental group of 33 people and for the control group of 33 people only for the current curriculum methods for six weeks. In this study, 9 educational games prepared by the researcher were applied to the experimental group. The data collection tool was developed by the researcher with the Integer Operations Achievement Test and the Mathematics Attitude Scale for Primary and Secondary School Students developed by Gülburnu and Yıldırım (2015). The data obtained were analyzed by t test for dependent and independent groups in SPSS program because of normal distribution. When the achievement and attitude posttest scores were compared, a significant difference was found in favor of the experimental group. As a result of the study, it was seen that the use of educational games and mathematics teaching had a positive effect on academic achievement and attitude towards mathematics course. According to this result, it is recommended that mathematics teachers design educational games in accordance with the class level and subject and use them in their lessons.
