Özet

Sağlık sektörü son yıllarda hızla gelişen sektörlerden olmuştur. Bu artıştaki en önemli etkenlerden biride özel sağlık kurumlarının devreye girmesidir. Özel kuruluşların sağlık sektörüne girmesi ve sektörü daha da büyütmesi sağlık personeline olan ihtiyacı arttırmış ve böylece sağlık büyük bir istihdam alanı oluşturmuştur. Özellikle Türkiye'de sağlık sektöründeki bu gelişme ile birlikte sağlıktaki bazı meslek gruplarına olan ihtiyacı ortaya çıkarmıştır. Sağlık yöneticiliği de bu meslek gruplarından biri olmuştur. Sağlık yöneticiliğine olan ihtiyaç sektörün büyümesi ile daha da önem kazanmış ve meslek seçimi yapan gençlerin bu alana yönlenmesine neden olmuştur. Bu yönelim sonucunda üniversiteler de sağlık kuruluşunun yönetiminde söz alacak ve idari birimlerinde çalışacak personeller yetiştirilmek üzere sağlık yönetimi ve sağlık kurumları işletmeciliği bölümleri açılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı; Sağlık Kurumları İşletmeciliği önlisans ve Sağlık Yönetimi lisans okuyan öğrencilerin kariyer beklentisini ölçmektir. Öncelikli olarak literatür taraması yapılmış, sonrasında da öğrencilere birinci bölümde 8, ikinci bölümde 11 sorudan oluşan toplam 19 anket sorusu yöneltilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda, öğrencilerin kariyer beklentileri ile demografik özellikleri arasındaki farklılığı tespit etmek amacıyla yapılan t-Testi sonuçlarına göre cinsiyet, staj yapma ve okuduğu bölümü kendi isteği ile tercih etme değişkenlerinde istatistiki açıdan anlamlı farklılık bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sınıf seviyesi, sağlık alanında ortaöğretim düzeyinde staj yapma ve ailede sağlık alanında çalışan olma durumu değişkenleri ile öğrencilerin kariyer beklentileri arasında ise istatistiki açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Lisans ve önlisans öğrencileri arasında kariyer beklentisi açısından anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin aldıkları eğitimin ise öğrencilerin kariyer beklentilerini pozitif yönde etkilediği tespit edilmiştir.

The health sector has been one of the rapidly developing sectors in recent years. One of the most important factors in this increase is the introduction of the private health institutions. The private sector's entry into the health sector and the further growth of the sector increased the need for health personnel and thus health created a large employment area. Especially in the health sector in Turkey it has revealed the need for some professional groups in healthcare along with these developments. Health management has also been one of these occupational groups. The need for health management has gained more importance with the growth of the sector and has led young people who choose their profession to be directed to this field. As a result of this orientation, the departments of health management and management of health institutions were opened in order to train the personnel who will take the floor in the management of the health institution and work in the administrative units. The main purpose of this study is to measure the career expectation of students who have associate degree in Health Care Management and undergraduate degree in Health Management. Firstly, the literature was searched and then the students were asked a total of 19 survey questions consisting of 8 questions in the first section and 11 questions in the second section. At the end of the research, according to the t-test results, which were conducted to determine the difference between the students' career expectations and demographic characteristics; It was found that there is a statistically significant difference according to the variables of gender, internship and willingness to choose the department they read. It was found that there was no statistically significant difference between the variables of grade level, internship at secondary education level in health field and being in the field of health in the family and career expectations of students. There was a significant difference between undergraduate and associate degree students in terms of career expectations. And it was determined that the education they received had a positive effect on the students' career expectations.
