Özet
Alman-İtalyan İşgali, Direniş, İç Savaş ve tüm bu olayların neden olduğu Açlık ve sefalet Yunanistan tarihinin önemli olayları arasında yer almaktadır. Yunan ordusunun 1940 yılında Arnavutluk Cephesi'nde İtalyanlara karşı elde edilen başarı geçici olmuştur. Yunanistan 1941 yılında Alman, İtalyan ve Bulgar güçleri tarafından İşgale uğramıştır. Savaş ve İşgal sonucunda 1943 yılında Atina'da yaşanan yoğun açlık ülkeyi büyük kayıplara uğratmıştır. İşgale karşı örgütlenen Direniş ve direnişçiler arasında sağ-sol örgütlerinin fikir ayrılıkları kanlı çatışmalara yaşanması sonucunu doğurmuştur. Tarih açısından önemli olan bu dönem aynı zamanda edebiyata da yansımış başlamış ve II. Dünya Savaşı yılları, İşgal, Direniş ve İç Savaş ile ilgili edebi eserler yazılmıştır. Rodis Rufos bu dönemin tanıkları arasında yer almaktadır. Tezin konusu olan“Bir Haçlı Seferinin Güncesi(Το Χρονικό Μιας Σταυροφορίας) ”Yunanistan'ın bu çalkantılı döneminde yaşananları ele alınmaktadır. Bu çerçevede tezin I. Bölümünde yazarın hayatı ve eseri ele alınmıştır. Tezin II. Bölümde ise romanda İşgal, İç Savaş gibi konuların nasıl anlatıldığı tematik olarak incelenmiştir.

The German-Italian occupation, the resistance, the civil war and the hunger are miseries caused by all these events which are the important events in the history of Greece. The success of the Greek army against the Italians in 1940 was temporary. Greece was occupied in 1941 by German, Italian and Bulgarian forces. As a result of the war and of the occupation, the intense hunger in Athens in 1943 caused great losses to the country. The disagreements of the right and of the left organizations between the Resistance which was organized against the occupation resulted in bloody conflicts. This period, which is important in terms of history, also started to be reflected in literature, in the World War II, at the Occupation, in the Resistance and the Civil War. Rodis Rufos is one of the witnesses of this period. The subject of the thesis is“The Diary of a Crusade(Το Χρονικό Μιας Σταυροφορίας)”and describes the life in the turbulent period of Greece. In this context, the life and the work of the author are discussed in the first part of the thesis. In the second part of the Thesis described, how the topics such as Occupation and the Civil War are explained in the novel thematically.
