Özet
Küreselleşme ile birlikte gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan bütün ülkelerin başlıca sorunlarından biri istihdam ve işsizlik olmuştur. Günümüzde ekonomilerin birbirine entegrasyonu ile birlikte hemen hemen her ülkeye sirayet eden küresel işsizlik, en yoğun şekilde genç nüfusu etkilemektedir. Genç işsizlik tüm dünyada olduğu gibi genç nüfusu ile ön plana çıkan Türkiye'de de önemli bir sorun haline gelmiştir. Türkiye ekonomisine özgü istihdam ve genç işsizlik sorunlarının en önemli nedenlerini belirlemeyi ve işsizlik problemini en aza indirebilecek çözüm önerileri sunmayı amaçlayan bu çalışma, 15-24 yaş arası gençleri kapsamaktadır. Çalışmanın teorik ilk iki bölümünde; istihdam, işsizlik, genç, genç işgücü ve genç işsizlik terimlerine, Türkiye ekonomisinin yapısal sorunlarından kaynaklanan genç işsizliğin nedenlerine ve Türkiye işgücü piyasasının yapısına yer verilmiştir. Uygulama bölümünü oluşturan üçüncü bölümde ise genç işsizlerin demografik özelliklerine, gençlerin işgücü piyasasına bakış açılarına ve genç işsizlik sorununa yol açan nedenlerin tespitine yer verilmiştir. Araştırmada anket yöntemi kullanılmış ve veriler SPSS (Statistical Program For Social Science) for Windows 23.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre, Türkiye'de genç işsizliğin en önemli nedenlerinin başında eğitim ile istihdam arasında bağın kurulamaması, yetersiz eğitim sisteminin varlığı sonucunda vasıfsız insan sayısının artması, işgücü piyasalarına yönelik düzenlemelerin ve düzenleyici kurum ve kuruluşların eksikliğinin geldiği belirlenmiştir.

With globalization, one of the basic problems of all developed and developing countries is employment and unemployment. In today's world, with the integration of economies each other, global unemployment which enures almost all countries affects mostly young population. Youth unemployment as in the whole world has become an important problem in Turkey which has a young population. The study which aims to state the most significant reasons of employment and youth unemployment of Turkish economy and to present solutions to minimize the unemployment problem involves 15-24 aged youths. It is included employment, unemployment, youth, youth labor force and youth unemployment terms, reasons of youth unemployment which are caused by structural problems of Turkish economy and structure of Turkish labor market in theoretical first two sections of the study. In the third section generating the implementation part, it is included demographic information of youth unemployed, youth's points of view for labor market and reasons causing youth unemployment problem. Survey method was used and data was analyzed by SPSS (Statistical Program For Social Science) for Windows 23.0 during the research. According to the findings, one of the reasons of youth unemployment in Turkey is that there is no relation between education and employment, increasing in the number of unqualified staff because of the existence of insufficient education system, deficiency of regulations, regulatory authorities towards labor market.
