Özet
Zamanla gelişen havayolu ulaşımı, dünya genelinde en çok talep gören ulaştırma sistemi olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Türkiye'nin de önemli söz sahibi olduğu bu sektör turizm sektörü içinde son derece mühimdir. Bu çalışmada, turizm alanında Türkiye'ye önemli bir etki sağlayan; Güney Ege Bölgesindeki Muğla iline bağlı olan Milas-Bodrum havalimanı ile hem Marmara hem de Kuzey Ege'ye sınırı olan Balıkesir Koca Seyit havalimanı 1997 yılında uçuş trafiğine açılmıştır. Araştırmada, bahsi geçen iki havalimanın kurulma ve uçuşa açılma yıllarının aynı olması, benzer coğrafi konuma sahip olmaları ve önemli destinasyon merkezlerini sınırları içinde bulundurmaları sebebiyle araştırmaya uygun bölgeler olarak seçilmişlerdir. Çalışma boyunca ele alınan iki havalimanın bölgesel turizm talebine olan katkıları elde edilen istatistik çizelgelerle ortaya konularak, değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonucunda ise, gelişmekte olan Koca Seyit Havalimanın daha verimli hale getirilmesi için çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. Bu çalışmada Güllük Körfezi'nde bulunan Milas Havalimanı ile Edremit Körfezi'nde bulunan Koca Seyit Havalimanları ile bölgesel turizm talebine etkisi incelenmiştir. Geleneksel birim kök testlerinin (Augmented Dickey Fuller ve Phillips Perron) yanı sıra, yapısal kırılmanın varlığının tespiti için, Zivot ve Andrews'in (1992) birim kök testi kullanılmıştır. Ampirik analiz 1986-2016 dönemi arasındaki veriler ile yapılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda Güllük Körfezi'ne ait verilerde geleneksel yöntemler birim kökün varlığını işaret ederken, yapısal kırılmaları dikkate alan Zivot ve Andrews (ZA) yöntemi serilerde kırılmaların dikkate alınması durumunda birim kök olmadığı yani serilerin durağan olduğu sonucunu ortaya koymuştur. Diğer taraftan Edremit Körfezi için ise turizm verilerinin seviye durağan tespit edilmiş olması, söz konusu dönemde yapısal bir kırılma yaşanmadığını göstermektedir. Dolayısıyla turizm talebi ile havayolu ulaştırma sistemleri arasında pozitif ilişki tespit edilmiştir.

Over time, airline transportation has become the most demanding transportation system in the world. Turkey is also extremely important in this sector, the tourism sector is an important question. In this study, providing a significant impact on Turkey in terms of tourism; Milas-Bodrum Airport, which is connected to Muğla Province in the Southern Aegean Region, and Balıkesir Koca Seyit Airport, which is bordering both Marmara and North Aegean Sea, were opened for flight traffic in 1997. In the research, these two airports have been chosen as suitable regions because of the same years of establishment and opening to the flight, having similar geographical location and having important destination centers within their borders. The contribution of the two airports discussed in the study to the regional tourism demand was presented by the statistical tables and the evaluations were made. As a result of the research, solution suggestions were presented to make the developing Koca Seyit Airport more efficient. In this study, the effect of Milas Airport in Güllük Gulf and Koca Seyit Airports in Edremit Gulf is examined. In addition to conventional unit root tests (Augmented Dickey Fuller and Phillips Perron), the unit root test of Zivot and Andrews (1992) was used to determine the presence of structural breakage. Empirical analysis was performed with data between 1986-2016. As a result of the analyzes, while the traditional methods indicate the presence of unit root in the data of Güllük Gulf, the Zivot and Andrews (ZA) method, which takes structural fractures into consideration, revealed that the unit root is not stable when the fractures are taken into consideration. On the other hand, the tourism level for Edremit Bay was determined to be stable, indicating that there was no structural break in the said period. Therefore, a positive relationship was found between tourism demand and airline transportation systems.
