Özet
Çalışma ortaöğretim 6. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde drama yönteminin kullanımının öğrenciler üzerindeki etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada hem nicel hem de nitel verilerin toplanarak analiz edildiği karma desen kullanılmıştır.Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Isparta ili Merkez ilçesinde yer alan MEB'e bağlı bir ortaokulda 6. Sınıfta eğitim gören 15 öğrenciden oluşan bir sınıf deney, 17 öğrenciden oluşan bir sınıf kontrol grubunu oluşturmuştur.Veri toplama aracı olarak Sosyal Bilgiler Dersinde Drama Yönteminin Kullanımı Tutum Ölçeği, Sosyal Bilgiler Başarı Testi ve Öğrenci Görüşme Formu kullanılmıştır. Deney grubundaki öğrencilere haftada bir gün iki ders saati olmak üzere 8 hafta boyunca“Dünya Bir Kağıda Nasıl Sığar”,“Farklı Yaşam Şekilleri ve İklim”, ve“Türkiye'nin İklimi”konuları temel alınarak hazırlanan Drama ile Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Eğitim Programı uygulanmıştır. Sontest olarak veri toplama araçları uygulanmıştır. Sontestlerin uygulanmasından 2 hafta sonra gruplara kalıcılık testi uygulanmıştır.Araştırmanın deneysel boyutuna ilişkin verilerin analizinde Wilcoxon testi ve Mann Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. Nitel verilerin analizinde ise içerik analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda Drama ile Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Eğitim Programının 6. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersindeki öğrencilerin akademik başarıları ve Sosyal Bilgiler dersine karşı ve dramaya ilişkin tutumları bakımından olumlu etkileri olduğu saptanmıştır. Programdan 2 hafta sonra uygulanan kalıcılık testi ile kazanımların ve öğrenilenlerin kalıcı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin, gelişimleri üzerinde dramanın olumlu etkisi olduğuna, dramanın bir eğitim yöntemi olarak farklı derslerde kullanılabileceğine ilişkin görüş bildirdikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The study aims to examine the effect of drama methot on students in 6th grade Social studies course. In the research, a mixed pattern was used in which were analyzed and collected both quantitative and qualitative data. The group work of the study have consisted of a class experiment consisting of 15 students and a class control group consisting of 17 students studying in 6th grade in secondary school belong to the ministry of education in the central district of Isparta. As a data collection tool, attitude Scale, use of Drama Method in Social Studies Course, Social Studies Achievement Test and Student Interview Form have been used. The students in experimental group per week, two hours on day, including for 8 weeks ''How the world fits on a sheet?'',''Different Life Forms and Climate'' and ''Türkiye's Climate'' issues with the preparation Drama based on The Social Studies Curriculum has been implemented. Data collection tools were used as the posttest. After two weeks of posttest, permanence test has been applied to the groups. Willcoxon test and Mann Whitney U Test have been used in analysis of the data related to the experimental dimension of the research. In the analysis of quantative data , content analysis technique has been used. As a result of the study, it has been found that Drama and social Studies Course Education Program has positive effects in terms of academic achievement of students in 6th grade Social Studies course and their attitudes towards drama and social studies course. It was determined that the drama had a positive effect on the permanence test applied 2 weeks after the program. In addition, It was also concluded that the students stated that drama had a positive effect on their development and that drama could be used as an educational method in different courses.
