Özet
Uluslararası Uyuşmazlıkların Çözümünde Birleşmiş Milletler Genel Kurulu'nun Rolü başlıklı tez çalışması üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde, teze yönelik destek nitelikte teorik alt yapı oluşturulmuş ve Birleşmiş Milletler'in yetkileri, görevleri ve kurumsal yapısı ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde, Birleşmiş Milletler Genel Kurulu'nun kurumsal yapısı özet nitelikte incelenmiş ve Genel Kurul'un uluslararası uyuşmazlıkların çözümüne yönelik etkisi belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu bölümde ayrıca BM Genel Kurulu'nun yetkileri ve görevleri tez konusuyla ilişkilendirilerek aktarılmıştır. Çalışmanın üçüncü ve son bölümünde ise ilk iki bölümdeki açıklamalar, bilgiler ve değerlendirmeler doğrultusunda özellikle uluslararası uyuşmazlıkların çözüm yolları sunulmuş ve Genel Kurul'un uluslararası uyuşmazlıkların çözümünde üstlendiği rol örnek nitelikteki uyuşmazlıklarla açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.

This thesis study entitled The Role Of The United Nations General Assembly In Resolution Of International Conflicts consists of three parts. In the first part of the study, it is made a theoritical/conceptual framework in order to support the thesis and it is also presented the authority, functions and the institutional structure of the United Nations. In the second part of the study, the institutional structure of the United Nations General Assembly is briefly examined and the effect/role of the General Assembly in resolution of international conflicts is tried to be determined. In this part of the study it is also presented the authority and the functions of the General Assembly by linking the topic of the thesis. In the third and the last part of the study, it is presented the methods of resolving international conflicts in accordance with explanations, informations and evaluations of previous parts of the study and the role taken by the United Nations General Assembly in resolution of international conflicts is explained with examples of conflicts.
