Özet
Bu araştırma hemşirelerin hemşirelik tarihi bilgileri ile mesleki tutumlarını incelemek amacıylatanımlayıcıve kesitsel olarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini birşehir hastanesi ve üniversite araştırma uygulama merkezi hastanesinde çalışan ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 402 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından literatür taranarak oluşturulan tanıtıcı özellikler formu, hemşirelik tarihi bilgi formu ve Hemşirelik Mesleğine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (HMTÖ)'den oluşan bir anket formu ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde sayı yüzde, Student t Testi ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) ve Duncan testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin % 75,1'inin kadın, %66,4'ünün lisans mezunu olduğu, %68,7'sinin hemşirelik mesleğini isteyerek seçtiği ve %79,9'unun da mesleğini severek yaptığı saptanmıştır. Hemşirelerin %80,1'inin hemşirelik tarihi eğitimi aldığı belirlenmiş olup %62,4'ünün de hemşirelik tarihi eğitimini üniversite eğitimi sırasında aldığı belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin hemşirelik tarihi bilgi sorularından aldıkları puanların ortalamasının, 26 puan üzerinden 9,86±3,92 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin eğitim, hemşirelik tarihi ile ilgili eğitim alma, hemşirelik tarihine gereken öneminin verildiğini düşünme vetarih türünde kitap okuma durumlarının bilgi puan ortalamasını etkilediği bulunmuştur(p<0,05). Araştırmada hemşirelerin HMTÖ toplam puanı ve alt boyutlarından aldıkları puanlar incelendiğinde; sırasıyla ölçek genel toplam puanının 160,61±21,21, hemşirelik mesleğinin özellikleri alt ölçek puanının 77,98 ±10,96, hemşirelik mesleğini tercih etme durumu alt ölçek puanının 44,47±9,95 ve hemşirelik mesleğinin genel durumuna yönelik tutum alt ölçek puanının 38,17±5,62 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin cinsiyet, eğitim durumları ve hizmet yılına göre HMTÖ toplam puan ortalamaları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Bu sonuçlarla doğrultusunda, temel hemşirelik eğitiminde hemşirelik tarihi öğretimine daha fazla yer verilmesi ve uygun tekrarların yapılması, hemşirelik tarihine ilişkin niteliksel çalışmaların yapılması ve hemşirelerin hemşirelik tarihi ile ilgili konferans ve seminerlere yönlendirilmesi de önerilmektedir.

This study was carried out as a cross-sectional descriptor to examine nursing history and professional attitudes of nurses. The sample of the study consisted of 402 nurses working in a city and university hospital and agreeing to participate in the study. The data were collected by a research questionnaire consisting of the Introductory Traits Form, Nursing History Information Questionnaire Form and Attitude Towards Nursing Profession Scale. Number of data, Student t Test and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Duncan test were used to evaluate the data. It was found that 75.1% of the nurses participating in the study were female, 66.4% were undergraduate, 68.7% of them chose the profession of nursing and 79.9% of them liked doing their profession. It was determined that 80.1% of the nurses received nursing history education and 62.4% of them received nursing education during their university education. It was determined that the mean score of nurses from nursing history knowledge questions was 9.86±3.92 on 26 points. It was found that nurses' education, nursing history, taking care about nursing history, giving importance to the history of nursing, and reading status in history influenced the mean score of knowledge (p<0,05). When the scores of the nurses' attitude scale total score and their subscales were examined; the total score of the scale was 160.61 ± 21.21, the characteristics of the nursing profession, subscale score of 77.98 ± 10.96, the preference of the nursing profession, the subscale score of 44.47 ± 9.95, and the attitude towards the general status of the nursing profession. The scale score was found to be 38,17 ± 5,62. There was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the attitude scale of the nurses according to gender, educational status and year of service (p<0,05). With these results, it is suggested that nursing history teaching should be included more in basic nursing education and appropriate repetitions should be made, qualitative studies on nursing history and nurses should be directed to conferences and seminars about nursing history.
