Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı; Tokat ilinin Erbaa ilçesinde yaşayan halkın geleneksel olarak kullanmakta olduğu bitkileri belirlemek ve bu bitkilerin kullanım çeşitliliğini saptayıp, etnobotanik açıdan önemini ortaya koymaktır. Yapılan bu etnobotanik çalışma sonucunda 55 familya ve 109 cinse bağlı 139 (85 tür, 30 alttür ve 24 varyete) takson tespit edilmiştir. Bu taksonlar; Mycophyta aleminden Ascomycota divizyosu (2 takson) ve Basidiomycota divizyosu (1 takson) ile Plantae aleminden Spermatophyta divizyosunun Gymnospermae (3 takson) ve Angiospermae (133 takson) alt divizyosuna aittir. En fazla takson içeren familyalar sırasıyla Asteraceae (15), Rosaceae (15), Fabaceae (15) ve Lamiaceae (8) iken cinsler açısından ise Trifolium L. (7), Vicia L. (4), Rumex L. (2), ve Cerasus Mill. (2)'dur. Taksonlar fitocoğrafik bölgeleri açısından ise Avrupa-Sibirya (18), Akdeniz (9), İran-Turan (4), Doğu Akdeniz (4) elementleri ve bilinmeyenler (102) olarak sıralanmıştır. Taksonların 46'sı fanerofit, 43'ü hemikriptofit, 35'ü terofit, 11'i geofit, 1'i kamefit ve 2'si mantar ve 1'i likendir. Taksonları kullanım amaçları bakımından değerlendirdiğimizde; 57 tanesinin tıbbi, 51 tanesinin gıda, 19 tanesinin yem, 10 tanesinin yakacak, 7 tanesinin baharat, 7 tanesinin süs, 6 tanesinin yapı malzemesi, 5 tanesinin ev eşyası, 4 tanesinin nazar, 4 tanesinin kovucu, 3 tanesinin boya, 1 tanesinin oyuncak, 1 tanesinin koku, 1 tanesinin koruyucu, 1 tanesinin temizleyici, 1 tanesinin inanç, 1 tanesinin ise tutkal amaçlı olarak halk tarafından kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca 11 taksonun herhangi bir kullanımı olmayıp, sadece halk tarafından isim olarak bilinmektedir.

The aim of this study is to determine the plants traditionally used by the people living in Erbaa district of Tokat province and the diversity of usage of these plants and to show the importance of their ethnobotanical features. As a result of this ethnobotanical study, 139 taxa and 109 genera belonging to 55 families (85 species, 30 subspecies and 24 varieties) were identified. 2 of these taxa belong to Mycophyta kingdom, Ascomycota divisio, 1 of the taxa belongs to Basidiomycota divisio; the other taxa belong to Plantae kingdom, Spermatophyta divisio, Gymnospermae (3 taxa) and Angiospermae (133 taxa) subdivisio. By the number of taxa they contain, the top families in the area are; Asteraceae (15), Rosaceae (15), Fabaceae (15) and Lamiaceae (8). By the number of species they contain, the top species in the area are; Trifolium L. (7), Vicia L. (4), Rumex L. (2), and Cerasus Mill. (2). In terms of phytogeographical regions, taxa are listed as Euro-Siberian elements (18 taxa), Mediterranean elements (9 taxa), Irano-Turanian elements (4 taxa), Eastern Mediterranean elements (4 taxa) and unknowns (102 taxa). 46 of the taxa are phanerophytes, 43 are hemicryptophytes, 35 are therophytes, 11 are geophytes, 1 is chamaephyte and 2 are fungus and 1 is lichen. We evaluated the taxa determined from the study field in terms of usage purposes; 57 of them are used for medicine, 51 of them are used for food, 19 of them are used for fodder, 10 of them are used for fuel, 7 of them are used for spice, 7 of them are used for ornament, 6 of them are used for building material, 5 of them are used for household goods, 4 of them are used for amulet, 4 of them are used for repellent, 3 of them are used for paint, 1 of them is used for toy and 1 of them is used for glue by the local people. Also, 11 taxa have no use and are only known with their names by the locals.
