Özet
Bu çalışmada a-amino asitlerin NaBH4; ve heterojen katalizörler kullanılarak P-amino alkollere indirgenmesi için yeni bir yöntem geliştirilmiştir, p- Amino alkoller hem biyolojik aktiviteye sahip bileşiklerin sentezlenmesinde ara ürün olmaları, hem de asimetrik kataliz için etkili ve kullanışlı başlangıç maddeleri olmaları sebebiyle değerlidirler. Bu çalışma literatürde yer alan yöntemlere alternatif yeni bir yol önermektedir.

A new method was developed for the synthesis of P-amino alcohols from the reduction of a-amino acids with NaBIL; in the presence of heterogeneos catalysts. The value of P-amino alcohols lies in their utility both as intermediates for the synthesis of a wide range of biologically important compounds and as precusors to effective and versatile ligands for asymmetric catalysis. This work offers a new alternative route to the other existing procedures.
