Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı Karen Horney' in teorisinde iddia ettiği olumsuz anne baba tutumlarının çocukta temel kaygıya yol açacağı ve çocuğun bu temel kaygıyla baş etmek için geliştirdiği 3 temel kişilerarası strateji sonucunda nevrotik kişilik tiplerinin oluştuğu iddiasını test etmektir. Bu araştırmada anne ve babaların çocuklarına ortak bir tutum göstermedikleri göz önünde bulundurularak olası farklı ebeveyn tutum bileşenlerinin nevrotik kişilik tiplerini yordayıcı etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini İstanbul ilinde yaşayan yaş aralığı 17-56 (Ort=31,04 Ss=8,87) olan 131'i kadın 69'u erkek olmak üzere toplam 200 gönüllü katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcılara Horney Coolidge Üç Boyutlu Envanteri ve Anne Baba Tutum Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilere uygulanan korelasyon analizi sonucunda uysal tip ile baba demokratik demokratik ve koruyucu istekçi tutumlar, saldırgan tip ile anne koruyucu istekçi, otoriter tutum ve baba koruyucu istekçi , otoriter tutumları arasında anlamlı düzeyde pozitif ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Kopuk tip ile anne demokratik tutum (negatif), koruyucu istekçi, otoriter tutum; baba koruyucu istekçi ve otoriter tutum arasında anlamlı düzeyde pozitif ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Regresyon analizi sonucunda ise her üç nevrotik tipin farklı anne baba tutumları tarafından yordandığı belirlenmiştir. Koruyucu istekçi anne tutumu ile demokratik baba tutumunun saldırgan tip puanlarının; koruyucu istekçi anne tutumlu ile koruyucu istekçi baba tutumunun saldırgan puanlarının; koruyucu istekçi anne tutumu ile otoriter baba tutumunun saldırgan tip puanlarının; otoriter anne tutumu ile demokratik, koruyucu-istekçi ve otoriter baba tutum puanlarının saldırgan tip puanlarının; koruyucu istekçi ve otoriter baba tutum puanlarının saldırgan tip puanlarının anlamlı yordayıcısı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Anne baba tutum bileşenlerinin kopuk tip puanlarını yordama durumları incelendiğinde demokratik anne tutumunun kopuk tip puanlarının; demokratik anne tutum puanı ile koruyucu-istekçi baba tutum puanlarının kopuk tip puanlarının; koruyucu istekçi ve otoriter anne tutum puanlarını kopuk tip puanlarının; otoriter baba tutum puanlarını kopuktu puanlarının anlamlı yordayıcısı olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to test the claim that the negative parental attitudes that Karen Horney claimed in his theory would lead to the child's main concern and that the child had developed as a result of three basic interpersonal strategies developed to cope with this basic anxiety. In this study, the effect of different parental attitudes on predicting neurotic personality types of mothers and fathers was considered. The sample of the study consisted of 200 volunteer participants (131 females, 69 females and males) with age range 17-56 (mean = 31,04 Ss = 8,87) living in Istanbul. The Horney Coolidge Three-Dimensional Inventory and Parental Attitude Scale were applied to the participants. As a result of the correlation analysis applied to the data obtained, a significant positive relationship was found between the docile type and the father democratic democratic and protective demanding attitudes, the aggressive type, the mother-protective wish, the authoritarian attitude and the father's protective wishes and authoritarian attitudes. Parental democratic attitude (negative) with defective type, protective request, authoritarian attitude; There was a significant positive relationship between paternal protective and authoritarian attitudes. As a result of regression analysis, it was determined that all three neurotic types were predicted by different parental attitudes. Preventive type scores of guardian mother attitude and democratic father attitude; the protective request of the mother with the sparing, the protective request of the father's attitude of aggressive scores; the aggressive type of the aggressive father's attitude with the intention of the protective mother's attitude; the authoritarian mother attitude and the aggressive type scores of the democratic, protective-demanding and authoritarian father attitudes points; It was determined that protective and authoritarian father attitude scores were significant predictor of aggressive type scores. When the status of the parents' attitude components is predicted to be broken-type points, it is observed that the breakaway type scores of the democratic mother attitude are; democratic mother attitude score and protective-demanded father attitude scores of the broken type points; the protective request and the authoritarian mother attitude scores of broken type scores; It was determined that there was a significant predictor of the scores of the authoritarian father attitude scores.
