Özet
Bu araştırma, STEM uygulamalarının öğrencilerin fizik dersi basınç konularına ait başarılarına etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi, 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Sivas ilinde öğrenim gören 63 lise 10. sınıf öğrencisinden oluşmuştur. Bu öğrenciler deney ve kontrol gruplarına ayrılarak, basınç konusu kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere geleneksel öğretim yöntemleriyle, deney grubundaki öğrencilere de STEM uygulamaları aracılığı ile anlatılmıştır. Araştırmada grupların uygulama öncesi ve sonrası fizik başarılarını ölçmek için 25 soruluk bir fizik başarı testi hazırlanmıştır. Bu fizik başarı testi uygulamadan önce her iki gruba ön-test olarak, uygulamalardan sonrada son-test olarak tekrar uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler frekans, ortalama, yüzde, bağımsız –t testi, One-Way Anova ve Tukey HSD testi ile istatistiksel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan istatistiksel analiz sonuçlarına göre deney grubu ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin ön-test fizik başarı puanları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı ancak son-testte deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

This research has been made for determine the effect of STEM applications on students' achievements in physics course that belong to the pressure subjects. The sample of the study consists of 63 10th grade students from a private high school in Sivas province at term of spring in academic year of 2018-2019. These students were divided into experimental and control groups and the subject of pressure was explained to the students in the control group by means of conventional teaching methods, to the students in the experimental group was also explained via STEM applications. In the study, physics achievement test consisted of 25 questions was prepared to measure the physics success of the groups before and after the application. This physics achievement test was applied to both groups as a pre-test before the application and as a post-test after the application. The data obtained were analyzed statistically through frequency, mean, percentage, independent samples–t test, One-Way Anova and Tukey HSD test. According to the results of the statistical analysis, it was determined that there was no significant difference between the pre-test physics achievement scores of the experimental group and control group students but there was a significant difference in favor of the experimental group in the post-test.
