Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı; Üniversite personelinin rekreasyon etkinliklerine katılmasının mutluluk ve yaşam kalitesine olan etkisi incelenmiştir. Çalışmaya yaşları 20 ile 40 yaş ve üstü arasında değişen, Batman üniversitesinde akademik personel olarak, çalışan personellerin toplamda 253 erkek ve kadın katılmıştır. Batman üniversitesinde akademik personellerinden katılan bireyler random yöntemi ile seçilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde ve hesaplanmasında SPSS 22 IBM istatistik paket program kullanılmıştır. Veriler ortalama ve standart sapma olarak özetlenmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda akademik personelin rekreasyon etkinliklerine katılım ilişkisi, mutluluk ve yaşam kalitesi düzeyinin anlamlı derecede yüksek olduğu (p<0.05) saptanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan akademisyenlerin rekreasyon etkinliklerine katılım ilişkisi; cinsiyet, medeni durumu yaş, eğitim durumu ve gelir durumunda ise anlamlı bir değişme görülmemektedir. (p>0,05)

The aim of this study is; The relationship between the participation of university staff in recreation activities and the effect of happiness and quality of life were investigated. A total of 253 male and female employees were employed as academic staff at Batman University, aged between 20 and 40 years of age. The individuals participating in the academic staff at Batman University were selected by chance method. SPSS 22 IBM statistical package program was used in the evaluation and evaluation of the data. Data are summarized as mean and standard deviation. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that the participation of the staff in the recreation activities, happiness and quality of life were significantly higher (p <0.05). As a result, the participation of the university staff in recreation activities has a positive effect on happiness and quality of life, and the gender, marital status of the people do not change according to their age, educational status and income.
